    Ozzie Newsome...Phil gargis and Thad Flanagan were all teammates at colbert county high school...oh and a pretty good power fwd named Leon Douglass also went to cchs at the same time

    Absolutely no way that's a catch and fumble by Cooper in the 2nd quarter. If replay was available then it would have been ruled an incomplete pass.

    Who the heck is calling this game???....I went in the Navy in March,1979....so I don't know these guys....love Auburn....but only remember Jim Fyfe, Charlie Trotman....then Rod Bramblett....SO WHO IS CALLING THE GAME...I remember the players...and the coach...but....well,I was most definitely out of the United States...LOL...LOL...WAR EAGLE!!!!!!

    When I was 12 the spring after I spent the day with the team David Langer and Rick Neel were my chaperones for the day. David gave me his pet alligator 🐊 but my mom said no way. I still have a practice ball signed by the 72 team

    First Alabama game I ever watched. I was 7. Couldn't follow much of it. My parents were Alabama graduates, and I can remember them cheering or jeering. I kept asking them what was going on. My dad would explain the game to me as it went on. Great memory. You can see a few glimpses of the wish bone.
