  Bit harsh about Story and Survival - Story is the first one I'd choose to learn the game mechanics and let's face it, stories about drug cartels can be pretty interesting. Survival sounds like it would be interesting if you wanted an all out brawl to the end.

  very meh game, far too simplistic outside business management. Should be a lot more focus on the characters in every way, the fighting, and ie being a cartel in general I mean fact terror is just a punishment + time limit as it were is just silly when should have a massive + especially being the cartoonish/basic cartel ie rule through terror, could even keep it semi how it is and make it a tough reward in the end by adding 1 last bracket of everyone fears you and no law will touch you and only very certain other cartels will go against you (including of course betray). Where is the scarface and my little friend? Where is Claude with his betraying friend who wants $?

  Depends on what difficulty you play on I like playing from 19 smth hardest difficulty and most amount of competitors since you never get bored from the amount of things you get to do instead of just having 1 billion and buying everything immediately

  Honestly I feel like these games should not be compared on price point because pred is in paid early access. If you really wanna just that on a fair level, everyone should wait till pred actually releases (and when it releases it's going to be free to play) you can judge the quality of the games on an equal price point

  Predecessor is in early access and it did not release yet. It will release as free to play in around 4-5 months. After it releases characters can be gained by in game currency that you'll get for playing the game. You will NOT BE PAYING REAL MONEY FOR PREDECESSOR CHARACTERS. I put the caps so people can see it quickly, I'm not yelling lol

  Update the video. They basically since launch gave 17-19 champs counting the renar they've been giving out in significant amounts. Only login no grind at all . PRED is garbage compared to Paragon the Overprime in this aspect definitely which it's PAYWALLED By 20$

  For monetization i would give a point for Predecessor, you pay 20$ to get the Early Access but that's not everything, you get a gideon skin, 600 paid currency that you can spend on skins after they add shop, and in early access they are going to reward you for leveling up your account. At level 10 you get Countess profile icon, level 20 countess skin, level 30 huntress profile icon, level 40 huntress skin, at level 50 you get 300 paid currency and every 10 levels above 50 you get another 300 paid currency so you can get some cool stuff for playing in Early Access. You will be able to buy characters for free using a currency that you are going to earn for playing the game they confirmed that already, but if you bought early access you are going to get 20 characters for free after f2p release. Also they made a video about monetization, it's confirmed that there a will be no paid lootboxes, but only free lootboxes with chances to get some skins totally for free, this is not a thing in Overprime. About items they said the icons are just free assets placeholders, it's going to be totally reworked. About slow/unresponsive attacks in Predecessor it just depends on the character you are playing, Howitizer attacks are slow but his burst is huge. Other characters are responsive af, for example Feng mao, Khaimera, Kallari, Crunch, Gideon, Bellica. They have really quick and satisfying attacks.

  I was about to play Overprime, then I read the terms of service. They collect you Tax identification number and you bankbook information (bank transactions). That’s a big NO for me.

  It "Only" needs the Tax ID and Bankbook if you are living in korea! But still, the fact the game requires stuff like your real name, adress, Smartphone number etc. is not good.

  I played paragon for about 300 hours back in the day. I also have 4000 hours of DOTA 2, 3000 hours of LoL, 1000+ hours of HotS and a few hundred hours spread out over other random MOBAs such as Smite, HoN etc.

The two games are diferent an they are on a diference state, predecessor ask for money so the paragon comunity have a chance to play while they add all the things that need ti be a complete game and launch free on a better state.

  @Byron Ocayo Sepulveda My opinion was that predecessor is slower and more sluggish, which is not how the original Paragon was during its best iteration. Its how it was at the start. Paragons best iteration was the one just before they messed up items by adding in the card system.

  Dood is literaly paragon xD. I got 42 days played on paragon( the game keeped the record on days) and when i play predecesor i got the same feeling only laking a little bit on sound. And the game runs even better than the original Paragon my potato pc can run it jus fine thing that i culdn't do with the original or OP. An the map is a better version of moonolith. No 2v1 lane but OP yesh it have the paragon assets but is nothing like paragon so like i said they are not comparable because they are not the same tipe of game. One is a moba an the other is a brawler more like OW.

  I really do hope thats the case, competition is what makes games push to be better. Whilst i prefer Overprime right now, Predecessor has potential and i want it to do well to make both games better overall :)

  Predecessor will be free to play as well after Early Acess. Early Acess in the original Paragon was also paid, after some months in official release it became free. Predecessor seems to be doing exactly what OG Paragon did while improving stuff as well.

  Overprime has a much more sluggish response in my play through. The items in overprime lack in diversity compared to pred. And charging such high fees for the core fundamentals such as characters and even more for skins(granted they are dope and offer more than pred) is not cool. Stability is also an issue on overprime, game freezes when too much is happening on screen regardless if running the game on low settings ( could those of us who don’t a 2070 or better in our set ups)And for those of us who came from console, they have 0 controller support which pred had out of the box and worked flawlessly. Dope video on coverage regardless!

  Personally i had not found any issues with stability, so i did not comment on it. However i am playing on a 3080 so that may be why. I'm glad you liked the video, i should have covered controller support to be fair though. I'll consider that next time i do something like this :)

  I dont agree at all. Predecessor feels clunky and unresponsive. Not only that, the animations, shooting etc feel like it choppy and almost cut off. I can time my attacks much more naturally in OP. I really dont care about the slightly better graphics, which is all Pred has to offer over Overprime. Instead I want more FPS, better feel of Attacks/Abbilitys and competetive gameplay. In pred even Basic attacks feel bad. Many attacks are auto logon. The crosshairs are awful... even running feels really heavy and like im stuck in mud. Just my overall feeling about the game.

  Bro, predecessor was worked on Unreal Engine 5, not only does it have better graphics, it has better worked on the animations of each character, movements, jumps, basic shooting animations, their facial movements and blinking and on the map, it has better polish

  @@ReshiUK Overprime beats Predecessor in the features that already have, but Predecessor is in early acess and will add most features before official launch. Gameplay wise Overprime is an hero shooter, Predecessor is a moba. But Predecessor personally for me feels way more smooth than Overprime, Overprime servers sometimes feel not that smooth. If you prefer fast gameplay sure you'll prefer Overprime but if you prefer true moba gameplay Predecessor is the choice. Honestly it depends on personal preference

Monolith is when Paragon went to garbage tho....the map is atrocious....If you claimed to play og paragon and only played monolith then you never played Og paragon. Legacy is peak paragon...which as an example it's like somebody who played Paladins right at peak.....vs Playing paladins in 2022 is what monolith is.😌 Can't take the person seriously! Which og paragon was pay to win....you can look at the PlayStation site where they announced Paragon being playable on PS4 and it says "We will Never be p2w" Except you could buy card packs so it was p2w.🤡 It was a mediocre game with good concepts. Monolith turned it in to a 💩 show. Paragon the Overprime added Soo many new things which objectively makes it superior to og paragon as a MOBA. PRED is a 1 to 1 rehash copy and paste.

  @@spiritualsoul2711 no makes it like a mobile moba or an hero shooter. Also you're comparing a game released and one still in early acess. Predecessor is still going to add all the missing features which they already started adding some. It's just that Predecessor focused in gameplay first and those features next, while Overprime focused in monetization first since the heroes were expensive which they changed it a bit for now, but they have a Spyware that reads your browser search Goodluck playing a game that reads all you search for in your browser. Also yes hero shooter i have played mobas and hero shooters for years and I can clearly say Overprime feels like a hero shooter, minions are there for nothing, turrets are there for nothing 90% of the matches are PvP which is what an hero shooter is about instead of balancing PvP and PvE like a moba does. So yes its an hero shooter, also potions on a moba wtf is that, that completely makes support heroes role not needed

  @@ReshiUK I really hope so. I've been a big fan of Paragon for PS4. I was really upset when they left to go to Fornite. I guess they made a good choice since Forntie is one of the most played games of all time, lol. Not my cup of tea though. I've been playing Smite ever since... but it does not really do it for me the way Paragon did. I'm thinking of getting a PC if it's not released for console. This is an amazing game and I'm glad it's back.
