I have been Metal Detecting/Treasure hunting since 1973. Started out with BFO detectors where you dug everything with zero analytics. Now, almost 50 years later the detectors are computerized and even waterproof!
Most of my hunting has been in the North East but the hobby has taken me down South and outside of the USA.

I am from Mass so I noticed the Evans Co. Attleboro Ma on that token/button. Very cool, when I looked it up there was already a connection on google with relics
Affascinante
Nice finds thanks!!!!!!
I have to agree with the guys your videos are always very informative in one way or another especially on the use of the Deus 2. Thanks
Very nice 👍DeusII 🔥
Deus one love❤
What pinpointer is that
It's called the Uniprobe made by DetectorPro. On their site they have a web page and a video explaining it in detail.
Happy to see you have uploaded a video. Always awesome, keep it up!
Agrée...
I agree. Been surprised by the depth of that 9".
Is there more to come. It been awhile
Yes
you are def the man Carter//well done and keep the informative content coming PLZ and THX
Nice ur finding good solid targets in that beat up area. D2 is a great platform. I enjoy the 9" coil as well.
9-inch coil on a Deus 2 is like cheating, unless another fella with a D2 was there already 😁
I have the 800. Not very impressed with it. I have the big coil, too. I dont think any of these VLF's are any good for wet beach hunting. I would get a Fisher next time.
Holy Cow that's clean!
I've really enjoyed getting to know you and detecting with you this week 😊
It's what the Hobbies all about, love hunting with people that have the same passion about finding history and cool stuff. Pleasure meeting and hunting with you, best part is we still have a couple days left and hopefully a lot more finds worth filming. 😁 I'm still floored over Claudia's Rev War era Massachusetts militia button. Your turn next😎
@@DetectorComparisonsI couldn't agree more!! I think my finds will really start coming in tomorrow afternoon, and that's totally fine by me 🤩🤩 She killed it with that button!!!
Don’t sea that mf commenting abt having a problem with the sea n it being his first one on this vid😂
Thanks
The PI dualfield is a beast from hell, but its way too susceptible to moisture ingress, and failure. I've had 3, all useless now. I'm more interested in the TDI now, need to find 1.
As a comment for you, fresh air tests are pointless. In salt water, is the only gauge. If you feel you have a deep signal in SW, don't dig it, adjust controls to make it more pronounced. In most cases, no delay is necessary.
I was going to buy an Excalibur for the beach and shallows but this vid has now got me thinking. At 60% of the Excal price it's very tempting.
WoW 😲😳😲😳
Would you 'recommend' the ws6 master for approx half the price of the remote? Then start by using sounds only. ? Or would I be wasting time
Very nice finds
It really bothers me when the "leader" is so rude. Shouting orders at other detectorists. "gimme that", Don't put the shovel there", or "let me swing over that".
WOW awesome scuba detecting! Congrats my fríend, great PIECES!
Excellent video Carter! Nice finds.
My question is… were there any signals that one person got, but the other did not? Or like the Deus got a deep target and the Minelab didn’t? Or if it did but you would not have dug it because it didn’t sound good?
For a place that has been worked hard you’ll got a lot of stuff out of there
I saw that you tried to use the detector as a fan , if you put a plastic cover over the base you could use it to detect and also fan away the sand and pebbles
Nice
Thanks for comparison series. Ground almost thawed here up north. It will be a wet start for '24, pounding houses near my girlfriends place.
Loved my CZ-20 but the cord to the coil dry rotted. (It still works amazing but is no longer waterproof) Just ordered this one as a replacement! Wondering how I can treat the cord so as to not have it get dry and crack apart! Shame Fisher will not honor the lifetime warranty that it came with.
That was very interesting about the recovery speed deal.
Is that the 15 x 15 or the 15 x 17 I just got the 15 x 17 and haven't had the chance to use it yet. what do you think about the 15 x 17. Thanks for the video it was very interesting.
Unbelievable
How much they worth
Was this old homestead
So beautiful woe
Beauty! Congrats
Hi mate ive got the same metal detector as u i have the gain at 50% and all metals on but i seem to get alot of interference in the wet sand what do u have it on in the wet sand if its ok to know thank u
Nice Job. Well done. Thankyou for sharing your experience
Incredible find Sir. Nice work.
Nice, but we all want to hear the tones... Some of us can tell by only the tones if it's iron or trash.
Tell me, to what depth did you lower the legend?
How do you get the audio booster to work
great machine too bad has been discontinued, white's closed their factory long time ago.
Nice find!! Congratulations!! *Chris*
Not a great test....pi's like to have no air gap between the coil and sand. Also, the infinium should do better than that.......my seahunter with the 14" coil would pick up the targets better than the infinium in that test and it shouldn't.
