I'm not a tool chest expert, but about 2 years ago I had to replace mine. Someone who I won't name 😜 backed into it. The Husky I bought has been an upgrade over my Craftsman. Was surprisingly a little cheaper from Home Depot size for size than the Harbor Freight brand at the time. With inflation, who knows now though.....

Not an OG watcher but I've enjoyed some of the how tos in the past 5 or so years. Building the 5.3 to max torque would be the right thing to make it more Caddy like. RPMs and exhaust note are to riff-raffy for them LOL.

On your 57 starter, why not just buy a regular one (cheaper) and swap noses? Been there and done that more than once. Congratulations on 11 years!

Have tires rebalanced with stick on weighs placed on inside of rim( close to outside of rim,if necessary for proper balance), likely damage hubcaps with Hammered on weights placed on outside.74 coupe DeVille tires were balanced that way to install hubcaps so they were fully seated and no damage from weights.

@@Fullthrottle440Garage The tire shop ( on 1 tire) had to place 2 offset stick on weights on outer edges of inside of the rim to get balance machine to zero out. Remember, those stainless steel hubcaps easy to ding/ dent,use palm of hand or be gently with rubber hammer.

Kinda had the same problem with my 2004 and did everything in the video but when I examined the resistors and tried to wiggle them to see if they were loose, nothing gave. I plugged just the motherboard back in and the gear selector and odometer lit up but faded in and out. Reinstalled everything and when the lights go out, I tap on the plastic cover and toggle the odometer/ trip button and it lights up temporarily. I’ll deal with that for now. Lol.

Yeah mine is a 1984 K20 4x4. Originally a 350, now a 5.3 vortec with Original 4 speed and np208

Sorry to hear about the tornado. I hope you can make a little time to rest between major repairs. I'm glad that you got a replacement bed for the yellow truck. Keep your chin up, and work through the problems. It will get better, sometimes it just takes a while. I've been down a number of times, but it's like a cycle in my life. It seems gloomy for a while, but the sun comes out again. All the best to you.

Man I wish I could get my 56 Buick to you because I can’t find anyone to do anything for me on my rear axle. Bought the car with the rear axle completely detached. Looks like they started swapping it because the axle that’s there has leaf springs but nowhere to attach them. And I have no clue what it’s from and can’t weld. It’s holding up my entire project.

Nope you can use an fittings. Those fittings even came with the ptfe hose. Been using an fittings on ptfe hose since 2017 with no leaks

What year Jeep steering box? I have a 1955 buick that I would like to do the conversion on, decided to try a spare pitman arm on my -96 XJ, but that dont match at all. 😮 could it be that 55 and 56 buick is different 🤔
