@@SirNova2o9 I do as well. This was an important area at one time. I would love to know more about the history of it but unfortunately most everything is gone now.
Most likely the temple was from Chenla upland kingdom before Angkor era
@@vibolhim2066 reading about them they say the style is Khleang or Baphuon but I’m not sure exactly. The octagon columns would point towards the Baphuon style but the lintels are Khleang style from what I’ve read. It is an interesting temple and is nice that they are still using it. I just wish the restoration was done closer to the original styling.

@@gustavodiniz6156 you are correct about Santo Domingo being the Spanish. The fort is known by both names, San Domingo and Santo Domingo. It was originally Spanish but has been controlled by many different countries to include China, Australia did the US which would explain the different names used. The site was fun to see and an interesting part of the history of Taipei. Thanks for watching!

@@endlessjourneytravels I think so. Sukhothai and related old towns deserve the meaning of "the dawn of happiness". They have reflected living in harmony with nature and Theravada Buddhism. 😊
