I shared lifestyle content and family life, I vlogged my BA journey, and along the way, I shared hair content that seemed to do very well. i'm grateful how simple but functional you made it (gives me a LOT of comfort that you can wear a side part OR a middle part but cut it the same so I don't have to commit), and it's evident it's that good since people are coming to see it years later! i've pretty much gone my whole life with a straight blunt cut with my hair behind my head because i can't be fussed about styling or layers too much and didn't want to fork out a bunch of money for a hairstylist, but it also means that i can't pull out nicer looking face-framing parts when i want to wear my hair up/back but don't necessarily need the pure functionality of it literally ALL being up and back. The straight blunt cut I have with my wavy hair makes it so I get these cute chunky-but-not-super-chunky upward flicks at the tips which look really fun in ponytails, but I never wear them out because I didn't like not being able to frame my face without stupidly long strands! This tutorial seems like I'll be able to preserve most of the blunt cut and just have to blend the edges of the framing parts in which is great.

What’s with the crazy parting? I’ve watched so many videos where hairstylists can’t seem to do a simple parting! No offense, I know you can do a lot of things that I can’t begin to do. My grandmother was a hairdresser for 50 years and showed me the most full proof way of parting my hair. Take the comb, put it at the top of the forehead and drag it straight back. Then use the most centered little furrow to part your hair. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There. I’ve been wanting to share that for a long time.😄

I dont understand where all the praise is coming from.. i am in no way trying to be mean nor hateful, this girl is drop dead gorgeous and did a WAY better job than i ever could/would..but w/that being said, the execution wasnt something that gave me any sort of confidence to feel comfortable doing it myself... it actually made me more nervous in starting this self haircut endeavor lol Again....my intent isnt to be mean so pls keep that in mind when i ask you if you could PLEASE do a tutorial on your eyeshadow... its gorgeous!! I promise you ill have nothing negative to say...im brutally honest and have no filter but i mean no harm... Eyeshadow tutorial pls!!!!!🙏🏻

Should you always part straight down the center when cutting face framing layers even if you always wear your hair on more of a side part?

Thanks for sharing this video Melissa. I just got a haircut from the salon and it was a terrible cut. I just used your video to recut the sides of my hair and it is so much better than the hairstylist did. The only problem is how to trim the back of my hair. Can you please do a video on the best way to cut the back of the hair by yourself? 🙏

This video saved my hair from a truly disastrous haircut so bad my plan was to wear braids for a year until my hair grew out. Your detailed explanation and demonstration helped me cut the right layer length for my face shape. You are a goddess! Thank you!!

Buyer, beware I bought these hair extensions on June 20, 2023 today is September 27, 2003. I have washed these extensions two times I do not wear them every day. I spent $306.43. Thinking they would last me. I have a set from another company I bought over 5 years ago that are in great shape I know how to care for them however The weft is falling apart the clips are coming off, which means you have to re sew them which puts holes in the tape, which will cause them to break into pieces I contacted them about the problem. They asked me to send pictures so I did. I have asked several times for a response with none Please do not waste your money on these. Please find a different brand so if you have problems, hopefully somebody can help you out because they do not give a shit and I am not a person to write reviews. This is the first one I have ever done because they have screwed me out of $306. Since I contacted them with only the automatic response because I’ve tried three different times to get in contact with them and they send me the same generic message I have as suspected after sewing my clips back on for the 2nd time I had one break in 1/2. Theses are a waste of money, please choose a company that stands behind their product because this one definitely doesn’t. My color was or is buttered blonde. I don’t know if that makes a difference or not just in case good luck people.

Is that enough for the whole head or do I need to order 2. I have shoulder length hair and my hair won’t be long enough by the time my wedding roles around in September. My hairstylist prefers I have long hair so I can style it properly so I’m thinking of buying the 20 inch. Should I buy two?
