Hello and welcome to my channel. Here you can expect character analysis of various anime and comic book characters. I examine fictional characters from my background in literary studies. As a lover of film, I also occasional do retrospective reviews on classic movies, sometimes examining the themes and style with a historical and cultural context. My focus is usually on fantasy, science-fiction and horror films. On my downtime I do podcasts for more laid back discussions on pop culture (Star Trek, Star Wars ect). For special requested videos you'd like to see, please feel free to support the channel on Patreon. Specific reviews are rewards to ensure your character, topic, show or movie gets talked about :) Feel free to send in any suggestions, as creating discussion on art and literature is what we're all about here. Stay magical.

Now both are retired and left the anime and manga on KZread
I like FMA 2003 better than Brotherhood so I'm glad it at least got this sort of more conclusive ending in the movie at least.
I am as well. I think many people share that sentiment :) Thanks for commenting!
I’m still glad that fma 2003 got this anime film
May I ask, what editing software do you use and which version? I love the way that this video looks.
Love Dragonheart! Can you imagine having a dragon like that for a friend? I would love it! I love Draco, also 1 of 2 of my favorite Dennis Quaid movies. The other is Inner Space. Too bad about his brother tho. Really lost his mind, that one.
Having a dragon as a friend would have its benefits for sure. I always liked Frequency.
And Enemy Mine.
Pete Posthlewaite was one of the few redeeming features in a terribly hokey movie
He's probably the best part.
Pete was an utter gem - sorely missed!
A very good actor for sure. My favorite aspect of this movie for sure!
There’s an overlaid laugh track. 4th wall anyone?
I couldn't help myself :)
@@MandukeReviews it was soooo subtle. Liked it.
al be like "there is no God" yet his body is gone and is possesing a suit of armor
Did you find your keys?😂
I'll keep that a mystery :)
🍿🥤
whenever i think of the CIA/Mossad, i think of the millions of real life scars that they have created. Scar is my fav character.
Mmmm. Strong paralells indeed.
This is annoying.
To some people perhaps. I found it fun to play though. Sorry you didn't enjoy it!
"Ah! You've finally arrived, but our records don't show from where."
Classic.

hi, a bit chaotic bpm but is OK) Any Nerevar rising cover is welcome.
I tried a few variations to keep it interesting I guess!
Great cover! Thanks for uploading :D
Thank you! It's one of a few things I can play. Might upload some similar things.
Nice One Buddy!
Thanks!
I love the shot of the guy running towards the player from his yurt, while getting shot at by the player's crossbow. Shit's gettin' real in the ashlands.
Yes indeed. It's probably why they included it in the original trailer. Tough place. Make good use of your fire spells.
Good movie, I seen it on vhs
I like the part where Joe’s hand moved to Joe’s mouth.
Truly...riveting cinema! (Joe imitates the chef's kiss)
that was one of the best moments of twin peaks 2015...i don't need shit bitch, I want!!!
“Diane, I suddenly feel the urge to plan a trip to Vegas.”
Nice.

Oh wait that's the old dune isn't it (I've seen neither)
Yup, indeed it is. I enjoy it! It's one of my favorite films. I highly recommend reading/watching Dune!

@@pancakegaming123 Indeed!
You got off easy, there are worse banks that he could take you to.
Absolutely!
What a twist!
I know right? Who would have ever seen it coming?
You should do harry potter next
I've read and watched those but I could do something for it if you'd like.
@MandukeReviews I think people would like a review on harry potter
Bet I need a re-watch
It's still pretty fun!
Monkey D. Luffy is a fictional character and the protagonist of the popular manga and anime series "One Piece" created by Eiichiro Oda. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and is known for his distinctive straw hat, his rubber powers obtained from eating the Gum-Gum Fruit, and his unwavering determination to become the Pirate King. Luffy's physical appearance is characterized by his tall and lanky build, black spiky hair, scar under his left eye, and his trademark straw hat. He usually wears a red vest, blue shorts, and sandals, giving him a casual and carefree appearance. One of Luffy's defining traits is his boundless enthusiasm and optimism. He possesses an insatiable appetite for adventure and an unbreakable spirit. Luffy is always ready to take on challenges and face formidable opponents, often displaying a fearless and reckless nature. He has an innate ability to inspire and rally his crewmates and allies, creating a strong sense of camaraderie and loyalty among them. Luffy's primary motivation is to find the ultimate treasure, known as the One Piece, and become the Pirate King. This dream drives him to traverse the treacherous Grand Line, face powerful enemies, and explore dangerous territories. Despite the enormity of his goal, Luffy approaches it with a childlike simplicity and an unwavering determination, never wavering in his pursuit. One of Luffy's most distinctive characteristics is his Devil Fruit power. After consuming the Gum-Gum Fruit, Luffy gained the ability to stretch his body like rubber. This power grants him immense strength, agility, and the ability to withstand powerful attacks. Luffy's creativity and adaptability in utilizing his Devil Fruit abilities make him a formidable combatant, often employing unconventional and unpredictable fighting techniques. Despite his carefree and often silly demeanor, Luffy possesses a strong sense of justice and empathy. He despises bullies and tyrants, and he is willing to put himself in harm's way to protect his friends and innocent people. Luffy's compassionate nature often leads him to form unlikely alliances and challenge oppressive systems, earning him the respect and admiration of many. Luffy's interactions with his crewmates and friends are central to his character development. He deeply values his bonds and considers his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as his family. Luffy's unwavering loyalty to his friends and his willingness to go to great lengths to protect them is a recurring theme throughout the series. Throughout his journey, Luffy undergoes significant growth and development as a leader and as an individual. He learns from his mistakes and failures, becoming more strategic and mature in his approach to challenges. Despite facing numerous setbacks and overwhelming odds, Luffy's indomitable spirit and perseverance continue to inspire those around him. In summary, Monkey D. Luffy is a charismatic and determined character who embodies the spirit of adventure, friendship, and justice. His unwavering optimism, unique abilities, and strong sense of loyalty make him a beloved and iconic protagonist in the world of anime and manga.
Well all going to miss him very dearly!
It's been a while since I heard one of these.
Me too :)
Dead thinks we should do a video together in the near future. I'm free towards the end of March. Maybe get some of the old gang together?
It would be nice to catch up anyway. Maybe we can each do a vid and we can put one up on the phantom channel in the meantime?
🙏
Thank you!
Hidden was Aaaaaaawwwsome
I agree :)
I like your cats Buddy!
Thank you!
Ok anakin

Maybe?
Tina Majorino and Dennis Hopper were fantastic and gave the best performances in the film as Enola and The Deacon, respectively. They were and are the highlight of the film, IMO
Waterworld is a classic
My buddy James loves it!
@@MandukeReviews Awesome
STAR WARS!!! YEAH!!! STAR WARS!!!
Rich?
Evans.
😂😂😂
That better be cleaned before I get home
Maybe ;)
While I haven't seen the Spiderman cartoon, I'm 99% sure that it's better than this dumpster fire of a movie
Give it a watch sometime. A classic show!
Once again, 90's Spider-Man TAS is pivotal.
Very influential to be sure.
I was actually shocked at how bad this movie was💀😭 why would they do this? Like seriously…This is what the film critics probably think Marvel movies all are. I’m still laughing
Kudos to you for watching it, Adam. I looked amusingly bad at least.
2003 series is more sophisticated and fun than Brotherhood. It also has better artwork. The story is more interesting and detailed. In Brotherhood, everything is rushed.
