Why does the cabin not extend over the pontoons? The original plans look like thats the way it was designed.

The designer is Richard Woods. Too bad you didn't ask me sooner because I had two model hulls I threw in the fire pit that were pretty nice at 1:10 scale. You can contact Richard on Facebook or by email. His website is sailingcatamarans.com. I built the models with redwood on male stations, but thin balsa would work well. Sorry I cooked them!

So how long does this stuff last? Lots of epoxy peels off after a while

Stays stuck as long as you put some underneath as well as overtops. 2 years now, lots of holes, zero failures.

so far zero holes have reappeared, but the epoxy is coated with paint, epoxy degrades in UV...also, the epoxy is bonded to itself from underneath
