    This message appears to one The Ricoh Printer screen error. And the inks colors was all over the printer everywhere even inside the trays and when they print out a color pages the colors is mixed up on the papers. could it be this what causes the problem?

    I have an MP C407 and I have a huge streaking issue from blue. I changed the toner cartridge which had a faulty release window but the issue persists. I opened the paper jam clearing section, and I see a massive streaking deposition of blue toner on the right side of the glossy black rolling mat for the paper feed section. How do I get that cleaned to eliminate the streaking of blue on my paper?

    I believe I am setup properly. When I hit the Execute button it connects and passes test. When I go on the Toshiba 5018a Copiers I see my name but I do not get get the SCAN button. Any ideas on this?

    only thing i can think of is you're not looking at the right section or you didn't set up the templete correctly. if you think you did, i would first start with a firmware update then the fun begins with troubleshooting....

    access what? your folder? if you are wanting to share your folder, of course your computer has to be on and connected to your network. How else will they find it?

    Although it may seem annoying to you and many others, it's actually a benefit for the customer making sure the toner cartridge is completely empty before it allows you to replace it. many users tend to replace the cartridge prematurely when they see the message toner low not knowing there's still several hundred copies to be made before it's completely empty

    @@Footbalplus i'm assuming you will be using generic cylinders. definitely won't last as long as a brand new OEM drum unit. keep in mind drums have cleaning blade which are needed to keep clean copies. not worth the hassle if you ask me.

    you should be able to use the same password as long as you have all the correct settings on each unit. worse case just create one for each i guess

    The cable did not have an anti-static collar to begin with, why put one on after repair? Is it necessary to do so?

    Just a precaution. Not having one won't prevent the unit from working but i wil prevent static which can lead to mysterious issues.
