  I have a real booty and the older I get the heavier it gets and at 50 I'm just pretty much toting it around. My husband is Nigerian and I we've been married fof 6 years and you would swear he was seeing me for the first time everytime he sees just an imprint of my butt.

  As an austinite i can say austin is definitely racist but ive been to houston a few times, its not exactly better the space you have to work with in houston makes it seem better because you have all of these pocket neighborhoods with a lot of history etc. but the traffic is just as bad in houston everywhere i go theres a lot of people around. Texas is just a stuffed state in general, especially the cities because thats where all the jobs are. Thats why the small towns will be changing soon. People will start to move out of the cities.

  Omg thank you for this. I’m from Detroit and live in LA and what you’re saying reminds me of living in Kansas City. Similar to Austin in that it’s a blue city within a red state. Not enough diversity for me and it sounds like it’d be the same in Austin. Yikes.

  DON’T MOVE TO AUSTIN!!! I moved to Austin in 1971 to attend the University of Texas. The city was a paradise. Imagine this: 250,000 population with 50,000 college students and the main employers in the city were the University of Texas and a state government controlled by Democrats. We were the ‘liberal’ oasis inside of conservative Texas. Rents were cheap. I rented my first apartment for $200 per month. There was lots of live music, restaurants, and other fun things to do. People were easy-going, welcoming, and friendly. Traffic was quite reasonable. Rush hour lasted about 30 minutes. You could be the only car on a major thoroughfare. For me it was the perfect city-small enough to get around and escape but big enough to provide everything you needed. Now just the opposite is the case. The population of Austin is pushing 1,000,000 and the entire metro-population is almost 2,500,000. We are still struggling to get by on the road system that was largely in place when I moved here, and all the modern improvements to the road system turn out to be toll roads. We have a continuous rush hour that never stops. It can take hours to get to and from work and going anywhere between 7 o’clock in the morning until about 8 or 9 o’clock at night can be a very aggravating experience. Don’t think that public transportation will offer relief. Expect public transportation to take twice as long because the buses are stuck in the same traffic as the cars and giant ‘man’ trucks. That’s why drivers in Austin drive very aggressively and are angry all the time. Housing is very expensive and continues to go up. My friends that rent are paying $1700 to $1800 per month for one bedroom apartments. Soon their rents will be above $2000 per month. Wages are low. After all, Texas is a ‘right to work’ southern state. If you don’t have an elite high-tech job, expect to live in poverty. Live entertainment still exists but expect to be packed in like sardines and driving for hours in heavy traffic to get there and later to escape. Austin’s ‘liberality’ is eroding in a very hateful and draconian state. So, don’t expect to be welcomed if you move here. People trapped in a city that doesn’t work for them with no relief in sight resent the people that move here and just make things worse.

  I understand the culture of Houston but Im a blk woman and was treated so bad in Houston by other blks! Houston has become another atlanta. Scammers galore, home invasions, armed robbery, car jacking and break-ins. If you are not dripped in diamonds, bbl, lace front, packed on make up driving a luxury car, you will be treated like trash! I cant do it anymore. You cant just be a regular human being. The fake ballers are taking over that city and its sad

  I used to show it off in my younger years but now I’m over 35, I’m covering up more because I am tired of the hyper-sexual attention and men only seeing that. Also women feeling free to comment on it and show it off to others. Weird! I was in a very long relationship in my 20’s so I wasn’t worried about getting the right man. Ultimately it didn’t work and the dating scene in the BBL era is horrible so I now want to look different. I can’t even really cover all the way up because you can see the curves whether my clothes are baggy or not. So sometimes it’s just very annoying bc people spend so much money for this attention as if it’s fulfilling in the long run and it’s not. Not saying this is the case for everyone. Nothing is ever an “all” situation.

  I’ve been thinking about filming a part 2! Maybe this is a sign 😂🤗 honestly just try gaining the weight slowly and make sure you’re working out as well! Working out will make your bum lifted and toned lol if you’re uncomfortable with it then the good news is that you could always go back to being slim hun ❤️

  This is so reallll, I’ve been slowly deleting social media over the last 2 years. First Twitter went, then Snapchat, then I refused to join tiktok for years and then I would download and delete it every 2-4 months. Instagram I had been on non stop since I was in 6th grade!! A few weeks ago I woke up and first thing I did was go on insta and something just told me delete this app, and I did! Social media just wasn’t adding to my happiness but instead made me even more sad for some reason. I’m really trying to be present with myself now and live in my current reality no matter how uncomfortable. I think moving forward If I want to use Instagram I’ll just download it, use it for those few minutes and delete it again.

  Thanks for sharing your story. I don’t take lightly to what dr Jackie said. I had complications in both my pregnancies during 2nd trimester with one ending in a loss! Pain or discomfort should not be looked at as crying wolf 🐺. How dare her .. especially because she’s never been pregnant before.

  Yes, at 33 I had a lump in my armpit my doctor was like you’re so young with no family history of cancer it’s prob nothing but since you’re worried we’ll schedule you a mammogram and ultrasound! Turns out it was breast cancer! Yes you have to advocate for yourself!

  Something similar happened to me as well, I found a lump in my armpit and was disregarded too smh I talk about it more in my testimony video. I’m going to always scream “ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!” Because no one will care as much as you do smh. I’m happy to hear that you were able to get a proper diagnosis! How are you doing now?
