  I've got both the Nothing phone 2a and the Pixel 8 and i definitely prefer the 2a. It's extremely smooth, has great battery and what i prefer most is that it always stays cool no matter what whereas the Pixel 8 always feels warm to the touch and I don't even play games. The only pro i see with the Pixel from my way of using the phone is in the camera department.

  @@Rehnstrand that pretty much sums it up. I also like the way Nothing allows widgets on lock screen. If camera is not a priority then Nothing phone 2a gives everything at a lower price

  can u give a feedback regarding the heat issue while using s24 ultra? coz i hav used s20 ultra and s22 ultra both phone heats up while using camera and the battery also drains rapidly while using camera app. also i was planning to switch to iphone 15 pro max cause apple products has really great resale value in nepal but considering small little features specially s pen i dont want to switch from samsung. i m in a great delima.

  S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra are awesome when it comes to heat management (better than iphones to be honest). The Snapdragon 8 gen 2 and gen 3 are much better than older Snapdragon gen 1. So you wont have any complaint about unnecessary heating and battery life is also much better in these 2 phones

  Check the display settings. Probably the settings are not properly set. But if you still don't like it, probably best to return it. We shouldn't compromise on anything.

  @@petergplus6667 i dont think so. I actually like s24u display (and liked s23u too). For me s24u gives me smoother experience than s23u. I can't use any other phone as the experience is just not the same. I have the iphone 15pm also but it is the usual dependable iphone but I got bored. Also notifications are a joke on iphones.

  It's better to buy the nothing phone 2a. Slightly cheaper than pixel 8a and you'll be getting the 256gb storage option with base model compared to pixel 8a which is 128gb 😂

  Yes, it is not a performance oriented phone. So it should not be bought for gaming purposes. Same is actually true for pixels also.

  @@akshayshirodkar4601 now now, you can get an 8s gen 3 for around 27k... The 8300U on the X6 pro at around 23k. Then there's the 7200 pro on this 2a... The performance isn't even comparable. Best phone under 30k, phone 2(a) doesn't even come close lol

  In my opinion in this year samsung have again started introducing there high price smartphones what we actually saw on 2020,2019... The 2018-2019 moment came back again in 2024... In terms of softwares experience of one ui and the Design samsung is making business game now nothing else.. In last 2 years really there were literally no competition to samsung but this year every brands are launching 95% flagship in a very budget midrange price point (India)... So in my opinion just giving a basic exynos 12/14 chip, giving a samsung flagship Design, big boxxy camera with no meanings, some good IP ratings.they will charge 35,000Rs from us is meaningless... Nothing gives a very good software user experience and the brand is far ahead of time than samsung... Samsung need to stop this game, Also another bad thing this company does is they always push there customers in any matter to buy the ultimate s24 ultra series... Even the mighty s24 normal line-up they are providing Exynos so that even using the device everyone's should once feel regret of buying a smartphone may be cost 20k lesss than the ultra... Very bad business

  Yes. Samsung lineup is such that people will think it’s better to buy their flagship phones. In the budget phones, nothing and Motorola are the only ones giving a good software experience

  Its still there. But I think it is slightly faster than earlier. Probably a limitation of processor or how nothing is processing the photo

  For me it tooks 4-5 seconds if i immediately open the photo after taken. I don't think it is a huge issue but could be improved...maybe it is becaus of ultra xdr that it needs to process multiple images and merge them togather. If you switch it off it is a lot faster.

  @@addaedans yes. That is the case. I feel it used to take at least 3 seconds earlier. Now its probably 1 second faster. Could be a placebo effect.

  What is your confusion? I think if you have a bit more budget moto edge 50 pro is a very good option. But if you want to have something within Rs 23K-24K then nothing phone 2a is a very good option. It is not a gaming phone but it is an allrounder. And software experience is best in this price range.

  Yes. You can install the latest update which will include all previous updates as well. Eligibility of getting update doesn’t depend on when you buy the device.

  @@gizmo-addictthe display on the a35 isn‘t better both have oled, both have 120 hz refresh rate, both have fhd+, the nothing is with 1300 nits brighter than the a35 with 1000 nits the screen size is pretty similar on both and the nothing has much smaller bazzles

  @@harshalmetalpawar just the brightness number doesn’t translate to real life experience. I found the A35 display to be more vibrant. Nothing 2a’s display is good but I liked the Samsung display more. And I didnt run into any situation where A35 was not visible but Nothing was visible.

  Yes. Performance is improved now. So it's now better for gaming. But still if gaming is your only focus, iQOO might be better

  ​​@@gizmo-addict True. Both are nearly priced at Php. 20,000-21,000 in the Philippines since I have to get out of my A51 for an upgrade. Too bad, the (2a) went out of stock on both Lazada and Shopee so it leaves us with two options: Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Samsung Galaxy A35. I have to wait for (2a) to come back since Nothing styled AOSP intrigued me.
