No Rest for the Wicked is his best album, imo. Not one bad song on the album, no filler. Even his early albums with Randy and Jake (which I love) have some filler tracks.

I'm very happy you put Purple in the first place. It's my favourite as well. Thanks for sharing your personal feelings. I'm sorry you lost your Dad!

Dude - you clearly haven't listened to Visions enough. It's actually #1 for me, #2 at worst. Didn't use to be that way, but Nocturnal Conspiracy, Insomnia, Portals, and Visions are crazy good.

His last great album was The Nylon Curtain. After that: a few good songs and some annoying ones. Captain Jack is his best song.

"Beautiful Girls" is a great song. The second album would grow on you. I loved Hagar on the first Montrose album, really like a few of his solo albums...but just could never get into him with Van Halen. (except a song or two)

I've been a fan since 1978 when I would wait by my clock radio for "Just what I needed" to come on....before I bought the album. On door to door, I like "You are the girl" and "Tonight she comes" would have been better with the Roy Thomas Baker production of the first few album...Heartbeat City was produced by Def Leopard's producer (Mutt Lange). Friday I"m in love is the "Cure" (not the Clash)...I remember riding my moped down to the record store the day Candy-O came out...Good on you for valuing "Panorama" as much as you do. There have been many years when it was my favorite. Mostly because of three Benjamin Orr lead vocal songs on side 2...."Down Boys, Your wear those eyes, Running to you." (My favorite 3 in a row on any CARS album.) But I think you do have to ultimately say the debut is their best. Good job.

I will defend Concrete And Gold until the day I die. T-Shirt has some cool ass riffs Run is one of the best FF songs in my opinion Make It Right is literally my favorite song of all time The Sky Is A Neighborhood is so iconic La Dee Da is one of their most heavy songs Dirty Water starts off very calm get gets very heavy Arrows really speaks to me on a personal level (I’ve been through toxic relationships, trust me) Sunday Rain has PAUL MCCARTNEY HIMSELF playing the drums The Line just sounds great Concrete and Gold is actually a pretty deep song The only song I dislike is Happy Ever After (Zero Hour) because it just doesn’t sound like a Foo Fighters song and it’s VERY repetitive. Other than that, Concrete And Gold is an amazing album, and I will die on that hill

Well said. First time I saw them live was this tour. I covered Run when that came out, and Arrows has just been the song that has aged the best.
