My dad once took my daughter ice skating with her friend. When they droped off her friend afterwards he said something like 'why didn't you tell me she was Chinese?' My daughter was like 'shes not Chinese, her eyes are just like that.' Meanwhile she was like 11 years old. It's true, kid's don't put racial barriers up unless they are influenced to do so. ❤

I love the adopting Mum she sounds so loving and beautiful. I imagine the Dad must have been a great husband and father. I imagine they would of been a great couple and parents to adopt so many children, love and raise them as their own. What a blessed the children were who were adopted by them were.

I don’t disagree per se but there are times when other people are the barriers. I do believe that if someone wants to do something they will find a way, they may need supports (meaning assistive devices etc.) to do it and it may be hard but if they work hard it can be done.

God bless the Adoptive parent's, and bless the birth parents also, at least they gave him life, and he said himself all the difficulties eventually made him the man he is. And if we think about it no one gets through life without difficulties, it's part of this journey, often people say it's through the difficulties they learn the most and become most resilient and develop character.

Its important video right now because some of black people are misguided and instead ask for respect they started ask for privileges and being the racists themselves. Kids dont care for the skin color. We should ignore skin colors and focus on personality.

But you WERE wanted! Your adopted family chose you! Your mom was so happy; ecstatic even. You were SO wanted. My brother is adopted and our family would not be complete without him, and he knows it. And now he has his own kids too. I do, however, understand needing to grow up and figure yourself out. But stop saying you weren't wanted. You were wanted as a child and you are wanted now.

Yes I was very much wanted. However, when I was younger I did feel misplaced. I shared a bedroom with like 9 boys that I didn’t know. It was crazy at times. I’m very thankful now. I’m 43 now. As an adult I can see all the good that was inscribed into me. They were and are great people. Thank you for the comment.

They only confused because the parents themselves are confused about who they are! Mainly of the man is black, he suffers from colourism, the white women usually teach their children to hate the darker sisters out of, let’s face it jealousy, only when it’s convenient for them to acknowledge their child is indeed considered black. What that said, this is really hard for US mixed children because the racism is so deeply rooted in your society. They have the best of both worlds, and that is what they should be taught, otherwise - YES it turns out to be a disaster for the child growing up in the US
