    @Aliemae - This was an unusual nest in that 3 adults (2 females & 1 male) worked together to build, breed & raise chicks. The females had a few squabbles, but they continued to work together for several years until Dianna disappeared in February of 2008. I still miss Dianna.

    I know this was a long time ago but I"ve never heard of 3 bald eagles in a nest. Was that a neighbor?

    Wow, that baby eaglet is truly a huge miracle, after all those birds went thru so far this year. Now that mother nature has gotten them this far, I hope things go smoothly from here. Great video. Mom looks like she's doing victory lift off's.

    Kill the ravens? It's not that simple to kill a raven. They are pretty good fighters, you know. They have a strong beak and they co-operate when they fight. Eagles, on the contrary, are loners, except when they mate. Also, ravens may annoy but they are not so harmful to eagles. And they are not tasty...

  • @koravius
    @koravius15 жыл бұрын

    No, they probably wanted to eat the eagle's food cache. Ravens are clever. They wouldn't harm eagles because they are useful to them.

    My daughter is an eaglet mother also!!! I have 3 daughters and every year on their birthday - they donate $100 to help an animal out!!! Currently it is American Wolves, Bald Eagles and Beluga Whales (Land, sea and air)!!! They also keep up with what is going on with their animal!!! We are all in this together - so we can all make a difference!! As John Denver said "Do something good for your Mother Earth today!"

    It was disappointing to me when K26 (female adult eagle) would give up this easily, when the chick clearly wanted to eat. Very sadly, this chick did not live. She died sometime within the next 24-48 hours after this.
