Good idea for a product but you should maybe show why your product is better than water + salt

Dude. It's $25 for One Shot Modern. I spent $15 for a used Lava Lamp i didnt notice was cloudy until i got it home. That's $40 right there. Add up the hassle of dismantling the LL and repairing it and i coukd have done better by just purching new off of Amazon for less.

do you have to use a bench bottle press or are those two handled bottle toppers enough ?

Does this "fix" the lava just sitting at the bottom and a small blob at the top.. no movement.

My uncle gave me his antique lava lamp before he passed away and now it won't flow anymore. I want to fix it and get it running again. So thanks for showing this!

If you want the water to be different colors you can put fruit coloring you didn't mention that

Would love to see you make videos on: -What dye to use to dye the master fluid -How to make the wax opaque and rich like it used to be -What changed that makes modern lamp wax _so_ translucent, and the water so cloudy (specifics, not just "quality control" and cheapening of materials). Love hearing people talk about their passions.

Can i add colours to the gallon of one shot ?

yes. You buy colored ink bottles usually used for calligraphy (people who like to make art out of writing). Some kits have over 40 colors.

No. The name, and instrument are pronounced with a V, while the french word meaning "look, see, it's done, and it's good" is pronounced "wuh la". Google, its easy.

The original pronunciation used the V sound. It was lazy ignorant Americans who turned it into "Walla" upon arriving at their beloved Wally World. I don't need to check Google. I'm smarter than Google. @@DWilliams-sf5th

Lava lab creations has liquid dyes for lava lamps, I've also used alcohol ink but it leaves particles in the water that you wouldn't want unless you have access to a filter, I've heard some people use calligraphy ink as well but I think your best bet would be to check out lava lab creations on Google, I have bought wax dye from them and it works amazing!

I have made multiple colors using mathmos lamps. For master fluid color I recommend a strong ink like fountain pen ink. Many prefer printer ink, but I have an assortment of colors using fountain pen.

You can totally use a funnel to fill the lamp. You can't use a cork because they won't be able to handle the pressure of the heated globe :\

Basically Distilled water or deionised water, surficant and in some lamps glycerine or Proplene Glycol is needed. Some only use water and surficant.

Don't bother buying this. Ita an American formula, different lamps use different fluids and wax types. I mixed lava lite fluid with mathmos wax. Guess what...it went to shit! British mathmos fluid spelt like a bubble solution using in bubble machines, where as the usa fluid spelt like paint thinner!

@@OzoneGifts Is there a general rule of thumb for the ink-to-lamp-liquid ratio?
@OzoneGifts9 ай бұрын
You just have to test it out - I use about 1.5ml of dye for a 32oz lamp and comes out really nice, but it all comes down to the color you're using, the ink brand, and personal preference!@@terraf0rm
