Car Guys New England

Thank You for visiting our channel, please subscribe! Also don't forget to follow our Instagram page CarGuysNewEngland .

We are true car lovers living in New England. Our story started many years ago playing with die-cast Matchbox cars as children. As adults we started a business together... It took over a decade to start making our automotive dreams come true.. this meant many years without taking vacations, many personal sacrifices and living in small cramped apartments... Today we enjoy our exotic automobiles.

Unfortunately the weather in New England makes it difficult to enjoy cars year round due to the weather and road salt during the Winter. We love all cars from Exotics to classics to Lowriders with hydraulic suspensions. We will review cars, performance products, customization ideas and answer common questions on this channel along with the many adventures (and misadventures) we document while on the road.

    Good job guys, but you dont even know half of what I know. When you pulled out that left axle and stated it looked machined the way it was worn down, it actually was machined too far down or a smaller circumference at the factory, because if it had worn down to that point there is no way the roller bearing in the tube could look good as it did. That car was sold new with that up and down end axle play, but it got away with it because the weight of the car caused the axle end to push upward into the smooth machine turned on the axle and ride on the upper area of the roller bearing, and even though it wallered out ruined the seal, it stopped leaking once the axle tube was empty of oil and a quart or so remained in the third member which splashed oil on the pinion and ring gear. Legend of the story, the factory of the company that turned and built that axle was given the wrong blue print, by some idiot and there is probably many other crown vic and marquis and lincoln town cars out there in the thousands running the wrong axle. Anyone wants to argue this, READ it again and understand everything I said here

    It’s definitely an advanced soldering operation. You’ll need a good fine point iron and you can’t overheat the pads or the copper can come off the PCB

    Great video. I am trying to build something similar, but not sure I have the skills to tackle that manifold idea you constructed. I did have a question though, how did you connect the blue pool hose to the manifold. I am probably going to use 1-1/4" pool hose or a garden hose but I cant figure out how to get it all connected to my pump. Thanks

    Are the seals being installed backwards, I also watched Rudy's video and he installs them the same way. When watching other cylinder rebuilds and researching the web, they usually face the cup towards the pressure side..

    Hello Jay good to see a video from you. You reminded me I have a rim from a 74 Cadillac Eldorado I need to fix. It's a factory rim the barrel is attached by big rivets to the center hub and they are leaking. Not sure how I'm going to go about sealing mine. They are steel rims so hoping I can just seal it with a good application of paint on the inside.

    Good idea bro only thing is that liquid nails hardens it’s not flexible. Hopefully it works. When you do the silicone you need to let it dry for at least 4-5 days before you put a tire on it also have to wait before you drive on them because of the force when you drive it comes off the rim like the ride when you get in it spins and you stick to the wall from the force 😎

  • @carguysnewengland
    @carguysnewenglandАй бұрын

    The liquid nails Fuze It does remain someone pliable since it’s a blend of silicone and urethane. We’ll see how it hold up over time but it definitely has way more holding power
