Last year’s quarterback literally cost us three victories and I know people can’t or don’t, like to say “stuff” about that situation but everyone knows, so that brings us back to, dominating the play clock with a quarterback who’s not afraid of the moment , Gophers are deeper and big on both sides, and fast , we might see some speed players looking to make a statement. The schedule appears to favor the Golden Gophers as a team that might be overlooked and get a few victories know body really expected, if the quarterback stays in his lane the team will win enough for some late January football.

Drew Allar is about to have his potential unleashed over the next two seasons cause i see him staying the senior year to develop more and raise his draft stock by proving himself to throw touchdowns while keeping his QB IQ right where its been. Alot of sport card collectors are going nuts after his cards so i know alot of people are seeing whats about to happen when that kid has a worth a damn offensive coordinator. I see him going 35 touchdowns and only 3 or 4 interceptions this coming season

In terms of Transfer QB - Max Brosmer I'm not sure why so many think he is such a question mark/risk. I'd take a guy like this who has proven performance you can evaluate unlike some kid who is a backup at another FBS program with no real college experience to evaluate. Here are some of his stats last year - Passing Yards per Game: Ranked #1 in FCS with 314.9 yards per game. Total Offense: Also ranked #1 in FCS with 325.0 yards per game. Passing Yards: Second in the nation with 3,464 passing yards. Passing Touchdowns: Second in the nation with 29 touchdowns. I'm actually more worried if the OC can utilize him effectively.

Avery Johnson’s pass accuracy rating is not really accurate as he had no interceptions because he threw the ball away. All of you sports predictions people who just look at the limited stats that you have on him will be surprised at how he can throw the ball down field. The defense was pretty good last year and they have 80% of those guys back. K State 11-0.

As Kstate fan, I think you ate right. WVU is probably one of kstates losses. This feels about reverse with Avery Johnson getting all the hype like Geno Smith did. I don't expect a smack down, I think it will be close. Klieman has big respect for Neil Brown as a football coach. There is reason for that.

It looks like WVU should be Kstates first real test on the road, It'll be interesting to see how AJ responds if things dont start off as planned. But yeah, I can't wait for the game. It should be an electrifing good old fashion Big 12 shoot out. Good luck to you all. If WVU doesn't make it to the conf champ game I'll be rooting for yall

@jonmoore4053 agreed, it's bit of wild wild west, any team could take out any team. I think kstate should beat Arizona and BYU but BYU could bite us even though Kstate is far superior to BYU this year. Hopefully KSU and WVU are undefeated. I want WVU to beat Penn State so bad... had brother law from that part of the country and his grandpa worked at university hospital.

You guys are really good at this, but you aren't Iowa fans like some of us. You missed out on a few things about Iowa. Like the field general coach Ferentz. They had one if the best special teams in the NCAA. They played field position with the best punter in the country and one of the best gunners. They had one of the best punt returners and if they wouldn't have lost so much on offence to injury, they could have earned a better result. You know the Penn St game our defence played over 90 plays and Iowa had the worse luck and you could say the same for Iowa in the Mich game. Just look at the box scores. Also watch a replay of the goal line fumble in the Mich game. Even the Mich players thought it was a forward pass, or the player that picked up the ball would have tried to advance it instead of handing it back to the ref.

Sort of interested to see this guys 10 draftable running backs ahead of Singleton hmm but you could be right I think actually Allen better prospect than Singleton? If Judkins on there for you then you know nothing. He was 3 start for reason just like Howard for Ohio st. I think Ohio St will be most overrated team this year at least on offense. Chip Kelly is relic now too everyone knows his tricks. With OL struggling for Ohio St definitely see a tough season for them with only having WR that will accomplish anything on offense. That other RB is decent though Henderson I think but OL still meh.

@@TheGolferguy71 PSU fan....and a Chip fan from the Oregon days. The team that scares me the most and probably #1 in the country is Ohio State. Ohio State's D was probably the most improved out of every school last year. With Chip on O and the receiver corp....yikes. Oregon is most likely #2 in the country because Lanning is the real deal as well. At least the PSU schedule, other than Ohio State is an easier one than previous years. PSU D will be elite again, and with Andy K. running the O, we have a chance....but not too confident unfortunately, against Ohio State. Competitive most likely. Wish we were playing Michigan instead this year.

His coaching is not excellent or elite in big games but he does work his ass off especially in recruiting and brings in good quality coordinators. Be hard for PSU to hire a coach that can bring in better talent or coaching talent and development. Sure you can definitely bring in a better game manager no doubt. That really his only knock. He will beat a top team here and there though. I am not sure they will ever win it all but do see them making playoffs almost every year!
