They banned soldering high voltage in my country because if there was a bad connection, the connection would heat up and melt the solder entirely, creating more hazards...

Soldering is a better bond imo, but it's not up to code where I live without before fastening or securing mechanically, i.e. a granny knot is code. 😅 On daisy chains, outlets, and fixtures wire nuts are easy and safe, especially working on 20ft and above ceilings.
