what would you recommend if your doing 5 hour recordings n stuff? I dont think my computer has the space for all that
Quality thanks
Thank you dude! Thank you so much, this video guide helped getting my recording to look like my game as close as can be. My recording was weirdly darken and washed out colors and I didn’t understand why. But I set colors to Full instead of Limited in the Advanced Tab. Switching it fixed my problem. Filesize might get a little bit bigger so I’ll experiment if flv files or mp4 files are better for uploading to YT and other video hosting sites. Thank you for this awesome guide!
Thanks it helped me so much ❤
Quisiera quitar la parte de DATOS para ver pantalla a total. ¿Se puede? Gracias. (Modo en Grabación).
such a help for a up and coming streamer and content creator!!!!!!!!!
What video editing software do you use?
I am having an issue with my videos I record! Seems like if I record and long video almost at least 3 or 4 times in that video for about 20 seconds my audio gets real choppy n laggy from the desktop audio & then it goes back fine. Everything else is okay but that lag from desktop audio, any suggestions?
My game is open and in full screen, but I added Game Capture to source and it's not showing my game?
guys use cbr dont use the cqp stuff
Dang. Thank you 😊 i was going nuts so i can make my cam in a smaller square.
DAYUM! Game changer. I haven't streamed in a few years so I am looking into getting back to streaming my D&D games. I used to have to use the VoiceMeter stuff to mix in mic, Discord, Syrinscape and desktop. This was one of the things I dreaded when deciding to get back into streaming my Fantasy Grounds games. So glad I ran across this before setting up by OBS.

Can't delete the comment. Sorry, I posted this with the wrong account active.
where can i find the video about the twitch vod so i can play music on stream but it doesnt upload with the music
As I'm preparing to go live. This would help a lot. Thanks
@Hammer Dance can you go above 6000 bitrate. Or for twitch u cant do that. Someone commented on a video I saw that they got there twitch banned for going over 6000. As a beginner who is learning that kinda stuff worries me. Getting a setting wrong or something. But I dont believe everything I read. I will keep it under 6000. I just want to record my gameplay for now to mabye post in the future. I want to be able to go back and fix my mistakes
@Hammer Dance You did a fantastic job here really thank you. For Call of Duty we all know how bad there servers and support has been. I want to record but I am a beginner so I’m new to this. Do I select the anticheat setting. I want to make sure.. I do not flag or get myself in trouble in anyway since it is a third party app. Ik im being super careful because everybody streams. But I just wanna make sure I don’t do anything that’s not allowed bc I dont know what I’m doing. Is it totally cool to just download and start recording my mw3 gameplay? And should I put that setting on or no?

Very helpful and well explained, thank you ^^

Hi love your Video! I have the ZVE10 + Capture Card and when connecting via HDMI on OBS Capture Device it shows only max Resolution is 1080p. Any Idea?
Hey Not Sure If You’ll See This But What Camera Are You Using Besides The M200?
earlier you said to use FLV, but later in the video you said we could use MKV and then autochange it to mp4. So did you recommend that or FLV then?
Here's chatgpt's answer: FLV (Flash Video) Pros: Resilience to Crashes: FLV files are robust against crashes. If OBS crashes or your computer shuts down unexpectedly, the FLV file will still be recoverable up to the point of the crash. Low Overhead: FLV files have a relatively small file size overhead, making them efficient for recording. Cons: Less Compatible: FLV is not as widely supported as other formats. You might need to convert it to another format (like MP4) for editing or uploading to certain platforms. MKV (Matroska Video) Pros: Resilience to Crashes: Like FLV, MKV files are resilient to crashes. You won't lose the entire recording if OBS or your computer crashes. Flexible Container: MKV is a versatile container that supports a variety of video and audio codecs. It can handle multiple audio tracks and subtitles. Automatic Conversion: OBS has an option to automatically remux (convert) the recorded MKV file to MP4 after recording. This combines the robustness of MKV with the widespread compatibility of MP4. Cons: Conversion Step: The automatic remuxing process takes additional time after the recording is finished. However, this is usually quick and straightforward within OBS. Recommendation: I recommend using MKV with the automatic remux to MP4 option enabled. This approach combines the best of both worlds: Robustness: MKV ensures that your recording is not lost if OBS or your computer crashes. Compatibility: The automatic remux to MP4 gives you a widely supported format without manual conversion steps.
Don't forget to Check the box for Automatically remux to MP4 in settings: Advanced > Recording
How do you get the green screen to work?
Absolutely nailed this tutorial man. Huge thanks
just wow..love you brother💙❤

Do I have to have OBS pulled up full screen or can I minimize it while I'm streaming?
i dont have the video encoder that u have what do i use
should i use quicksync?
not sure how you figured out what all of those settings actually do but thank you!!
Thank you so much man. I haven’t streamed since like last year, before Twitch Studio disappeared so this helps so much. Looking forward to entering the streaming world. Subscribed!
I don't have the option to use nvidea or amd gpu for video encoder. I have three presets available - STV-AV1, AOM-AV1, and x264. Do I stick to using x264, do I use one of the other two options, or do these three not really matter in differences?
<3 perfect

I caved and got the silly cross-legged chair from TikTok and regret nothing. I don't think I ever want a chair with arms again.

thnks foir the tips
my encoder settings look different than yours. i dont have the options multipass mode, tuning and gpu. ive updated obs to the latest but its still not there my recordings still lag and i dont know what to do also my preset setting only gives me the options speed balanced and quality and not p1p2p3p4p5 etc
