It's like Christmas!!
Pretty sketchy Phase 3 test unit excavation method. Be pretty hard to define a level with that picking and gouging midden removal technique. Why is there a need to run a water line through a burial mound when it can be routed around? None of this adds up to the title...
First, it’s not a burial mound but a trash heap midden. We weren’t there to do a full excavation, but to determine if there was any Spanish contact metal in the ground. We only had a couple hours to use my metal detector to try to pinpoint any items.
i have some old bottles 1818 and i would like to sell if there is demand market.
Try eBay, you might sell them.
Did they burn fires on top of burial mounds in Alabama?
More than likely they had fires going all over the place.
My favorite ride on the planet!
Esau you and the rest of you Edomites are finished,,, thus saith the Lord God of Israel D3V11.....
This is really cool! How can I order?
These are all bottles sent to me by customers. If you want some glasses made, search eBay for the one you want and have the seller send it directly to me.
If you ever find something, message me on Antique Bottle Glasses Facebook.
Yeah no.
That might be my last ride on a roller coaster lol
I got to ride it this 8 times this Sunday! The front row is tame compared to the back. It is a must ride at Busch Gardens Tampa.
@@guyman4155back row on Gwazi is like my 2nd home lol
You'll need nerves of steel just to watch this! Bravo to the camera man!!!
I got 8 rides this Sunday! Super fun ride and I recommend you ride it for yourself.
You took the seat I've always taken! Not anymore lololol 😂😂😂
Today was the day we realized we don’t like it anymore. Nausea buddy! Not horrible, but enough. Woozy
Some lovely old bottles
Hey Nick! Hope you are doing well!!! Can't thank you enough for what you did for me before Christmas!!!
My pleasure!
SWEET!!
You can boil the bottle in hot water to get wax out
You have to be careful with high temperatures and old glass…I used hot water from the sink and it all came off.
Which umbrella won? The green and white one looked pretty capable.
Hahaha! The green and white one! Hurricane hunting is always fun, the tides uncover quite a lot.
Great test. I would wear safety goggles with that blue one. Who makes the green one. My girlfriend won’t go on walks with me until I find the right umbrella.
@@Gpacharlie I don’t know the make…we weren’t really testing them, we were there looking for artifacts, but it sure did test them!
That's why I went back to inground. It was horrible. I don't think you can stop them.
Glad to see that they all made it!!
Big thanks Niic!!!
My pleasure!
Ha! Working on Brandons order...lol imagine that... have a great day man!!!!
@@williamnewman962 yours is next! 😉
Where are you from ? I’d love to go digging
I live in Florida, I don’t have any sites to dig! People send me bottles to work on.
Glad they made it one piece! In my opinion these are some of my coolest bottles I’ve sent!

How much to you charge to make theses glasses
I charge $18 per bottle to be made into a glass.
I’m thinking of making a lamp out of the Pepsi! Haha I thought you cutting and rounding the bottom would be a nice touch!
I just did that recently for a bunch of wine bottles, guy was making lamps.
What do you charge approx per bottle to cut, finish and clean these?
Hi Terry, I charge $18 per bottle to be made into a glass. I don’t tumble them, but the way I clean them removes everything but bottle haze.
If you ever want to order, send an email to [email protected]
I’d love to have you make some glasses for me!!! How do I contact you?
Hi Ronnie, send me an email at [email protected]
Did you send an email? Just checking to see if it went through.
You do some amazing work sir. Thanks for the video.
Thanks!
That one Coca-Cola with the crooked slug plate may have to stay in my collection haha! First I’ve seen like it.
Is this in Mississippi?
In Florida
It is awesome your making glasses out of beautiful broken bottles.
Thank you!
Great....you found my shell collection.
How can I send you some bottles from New England area ?
Send me an email at: [email protected]
Glad to see they made it. Look forward to the results.
Good to see you back! Love those Philly squats! And the art deco style bottles should make some awesome looking glasses! Love to see them when they're done!
Thank you! Great stuff!! My observations: 1) truly wonderful collection (was straining see around camera-view, see what else there!) 2) loved horn, loved you blew (Dogs came running, wanted checkout noise); I would not have known what I had! Now, will go thru my shells, look… 3) Dad ok, just could not help it! (Lucky you, you came by inherited compulsion!) 4) you funny and messy👍
Thank you!
I made a mistake, the piece I showed was from the Parthenon, but I do have small squares of tiles he took from a mosaic in Pompeii.
Great video. 👍
What a wonderful collection and thanks for providing the info on the uses. Wishing you all the best. Good luck, happy hunting and take care. ✌️
thanks for the great info...
Very cool finds. Would be neat to see a video on how efficient those tools were. Thanks for sharing and take care. ✌️
Thanks Nick! Awesome video, and looking great my friend. -Ryan
Thanks!
Very interesting Nick! I've seen similar shells here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and thought they were just tossed about by the ocean... maybe they were used by early inhabitants here??? I'll probably never know. Thanks for the video!
Glad they made it one piece! The Americus bottle will be dug in next weeks video 😎
Nice bunch you got. Thanks for sharing and take care. ✌️
My pleasure! Merry Christmas!
@@stpeterburgartifactrecovery Merry Christmas to you too.
Very nice bottles! Just watched Brandon's video where those were dug! Brandon has to be your top customer! Merry Christmas Nick! Have a great holiday season!
He is indeed! One of them.
I know it's been a while, but I'm sorry for your loss.
Do you tumble bottles.
No, I don’t tumble them, but I do use 500 grit wet sandpaper on the inside and out. This removes everything but haze.
@@stpeterburgartifactrecovery how much is that
@@natureandwildlifewithhunte5849 I charge $18 per bottle to be made into a glass.
@@stpeterburgartifactrecovery If I find more broken ones I will send them over. How much do you charge if I wanted a bottle polished.
@@natureandwildlifewithhunte5849 i add mineral oil to them, that makes them look polished. My customers know that they must remove the oil before using them. If you’re on Facebook, send me a message at Antique Bottle Glasses.
Hey man! If any had to break glad it was the Jefferson lol! Toss it!
🤣😂🤣will do brother!
Hope your vacation time was good Nick. More goodies from Brandon....he does find some interesting bottles! I've heard that Root glass is poor quality... your thoughts? Take care, be safe and God bless!
Yes, root is known for poor quality glass, I have no idea why though.
Good to see you Nic! Let us know next time ya around Drew and I bring some dive gear! Steve
Sounds great! I’m looking into a quiet hooka rig.
I have one but it’s not quiet, small Honda with 4-50’ sets
Nic! You’re only about 20 minutes away. I am very familiar with that stretch of river. PS. Most definitely not Trout, those were indeed mullet.
@@FloridaFlint I thought they were mullet! Wow, I had no idea.
