Copycat seems like one of those “gotcha” cards. Will be okay and steal some cubes by surprise factor. Cable seems more useful to get an extra card in hand with Loki.

With the recent OTA changes, Thanos/Cull Obsidian could make a comeback too - testing a Mockingbird/Thanos/ 10+power cards (Cull, Crossbones), Skaar, Caiera and Blob for the darkhawk matchup. Went quite well, you can outpace a lot of decks with discounted Skaar and Mockingbird for final turns.

Doctor Octopus could also work with Ajax. Pull out the cards afflicted with scorpion or Cassandra while also using up their shang that you inevitably pull out. If you're playing magic you then have time to play Ajax and counter the things Doc Oc pulled or copy Ajax with mystique.

I want Galactus but I already have Nebula so I don't want to risk my keys because I want to have Copycat, Cull Obsidian and in a few weeks movement cards will come, which is my favorite archetype. Excellent video as always, very helpful, thank you!

I’d argue that locations are an important consideration with his effect. Also, maybe I didn’t hear you say it but he’s one of the best 1 drops to play late. People played havoc so they could get 4 power final turn play from a 2 or 1 cost and Hydra Bob is essentially the same.

Thanks for the informative video! I'm mostly a F2P player who occasionally buys a season pass so was interested to hear your take. I think I'm going to give it a few more days before deciding... The 'value' element of buying a season pass is interesting - I get that it's one of (if not the) best ways to spend money in the game if that's what you can/want to do, but it makes me wonder if people feel differently about this depending on where you live in the world. For example here in the UK a season pass card is £9.99 which at time of writing equates to about $12.79 - so sometimes I wonder if a player in the US would still recommend buying a season pass it if cost them nearly $13 every time instead of $10..? I dunno, I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on this! I'm sure there are other places in the world where the value seems worse, and other places that seem better

I’m in Ireland and it’s the same for us. US price is a bit cheaper. It depends mostly on your own value measures. I skipped a handful of months since I first started at release but have been buying consistently for the last 7 or so. I spend about the same on Disney plus and I probably get more enjoyment out of snap currently. For myself I look at my own budget and is 11 euro a month worth it in comparison to some other form of entertainment. My friend has played fully F2P from release. You just have to be even more strategic with the resources but they can play a lot of great decks. I think the fomo gets people, I need to play this or own this. I got a few cards in spotlights that I ended up not playing at all for months so if I had purchased them that would have been pointless. The marvel snap economy and how you engage with it is a big thought exercise in itself
