I have 2,5 years of experience in IT support for a huge company, I'm 26 years old soon, without degree, and I want a better job since this one is bearly above minimum wage and it became pretty repetitive and feels like dead end job if I stay for longer. However do you think it gives me give me any advantage in becoming junior project manager or I kinda wasted 1,5 year in rock bottom IT job? I feel kinda guilty that I didn't think of transferring sooner like, right after I gathered my first year of experience in any IT job...

Your job search starts with applying to a job opening with a resume. Any certification is just one or two lines of text in your resume. For entry-level jobs, there are no mandatory certifications. So, in your case it a nice to have addition. So, the remaining 99% of the text in your resume is what actually matters.

I stumbled on this video. Great info!!! Please follow what is the delivery method the company is using. More often than not it is in Powerpoint than email body. So that the stakeholders can easily compile your slide into another deck.

Thanks. In most cases, I try to convince stakeholders to use either a plain text report in an email or a dashboard in your PM tool (Jira/Asana etc.) If you do need slides that stakeholders need to reuse, I would create only the required slides separately. The hardest part here is that most stakeholders don't know a better why to communicate. So, you have to educate and convince them. It may take time.

@@ITProjectManagers I resigned. I felt I got lost in a never ending loop. I was mentally traumatised, was lost the appetite to explore and learn new things. The main problem was my colleagues see this as my disability to manage things. Once the unnecessary blame game started being played I couldn't control anymore. Everything you said in the first half of this video is exactly what I have been through. I couldn't believe when you explained it so well. I wish everyone realises this before it's too late.
