What's four screws mean?
Worked or me on a newer model! Thx saved me a lot of money
@@timberfansrock thank you I’m glad it helped.
Thanks i was stumped with the piston but all good now thanks
I appreciate this but it’s not ‘easy’ lol. I’m gonna try the easier fixes mentioned in the comments first. This is super complicated
Awesome walk through. Was able to fix our Samsung washer in less than 2 hours. Because of this video I had the drain pump unclogged from debris within 30 minutes. The tricky part was putting it all back together. Thank you so much!
I have two hermit crabs I got pinched before. Yeah when I first got in my hair lol so yeah, so whatever you do don’t put your finger in their claw because they pinch really hard I learned my lesson, so yeah bye
@@tristawigingtonjames5864 Thank You
bullcrap.
@@andrewczski1969 no, it’s bird crap.
@@23sapper No, I'm pissed! 🤣I have a swallow nest on my front porch light, and I wanted to see how a baby safely leaves the nest, and SOB- there's nothing here!! Chopped out!
@@andrewczski1969 being pissed is a choice.
Great video, many thanks
Awesome. Didn't even consider an o ring. Owe you a beer.
So thankful to have found your video! I had used every expletive in my vocabulary while waiting by my washer, only to have it be out of balance, bang around upon spinning and reset to fill again with water. Grrrr. I chose to work from the bottom and had no trouble reinforcing the springs with some old garden hose and zip ties. Thank you so much. Sometimes it's the little things in life that make you happy.
Thank you so much man
Just fixed mine! It was clogged just like yours. It took me more than an hour, due to me trying to figure out how to put it back together😆. Your video saved my coins. Thank you.
Thank you! In my case it wasn't clogged, but a needle worked it's way to the pump and stopped it from turning.
Why is it not filling up with water
Why are the lights blinking

Ours just tried to jump off the staircase the other days after years of no issues doing the same floor space. I am convinced the manufacturer programs in a set date where it commits suicide so that you have to buy another one and help their sales
Same here. We have had this same Roomba for seven years. We must place the barrier device by the stairs to prevent it from going down.
Thank you mine is fixed. Bless you.
Who farted
Its a mystery.
This was the perfect fix! Samsung and the other manufacturers have upgraded the suspension rod springs which have a spring damper on them. This is a good fix . I cut 4 1/4” lengths of 5/8 hose sliced vertically and wrapped the spring with the length I cut and used three zip ties per rod. Works perfectly! Thank you for the advice! Wade
Thanks
BRO!!!!!! STRAIGHT TO DAMN POINT!!!!! WELL DONE!!!
Thanks. It can be frustrating on these DIY videos when people talk too much and you’re trying to fast-forward to get to the point.
Thank You! FIXED! Great to know what is inside the machine. Just a couple of modifications to your method. 1. I used a shop vac wet vac to suck the water out of the hoses both the drain hose, and when I disconnected the hose from the bottom of the drum. * Note I did scoop out as much water as possible, and sucked out what I could from the top of the washing machine. There is quite a bit of water left in the drum. A quick finger check into the intake side of the pump confirmed there was a clog similar to yours. I tried to suck it out with the vacuum, but ended up removing the pump and realized there is a check valve in the exhaust side of the hose, so no to vacuum. I then just stuck a screwdriver into the pump inlet and was able to pull out the clog similar to what you had. Once it looked visually OK, I used the blower side of the vacuum to blow in the input side, and I had a good flow on the output side. So I reinstalled it without completely disassembling the pump. Much thanks to you, I would have taken it all apart if I had not watched your video!
Beautiful
Last step is get an alignment done
Anyone know what size bolt that is, i finally got the first nut off and it was discovered that the bolt under the plate is completely cracked
I bought new rods that fixed a banging noise, but now i get the spin then UE notification and then it jumps time to fill with water again. I have not check if bolt was loose or not. Note when replacing rods, replace one at a time.
had a broken spinner nut, replaced it, but still goes to spin, i have to stop it at about 4 mins or it will add time and refill. I got a M28 size bolt on amazon. So now thinking of buying rods again grrr.
my ass would kick it down the stairs 💀
I don’t have stairs 👁️👄👁️
But they are good for your health
God bless you man!
FYI if you have a front loading Samsung washer there is access to a filter in a panel on the front bottom right corner
Thanks for the video. We had a nerf dart stuck in our pump.
This is exactly the video we needed.

Thank you so much. This video saved me few hundred dollars. I was able to fix my washing machine by changing the pump.

I put my finger inside a hermit crab pitcher and I got pitch 00.1 seconds
I bet your wife and kids appreciate your hard working wisdom and helpful support. ❤❤❤ My pump isn't pumping hard enough it's not clogged I think the pump motor is bad! I learned so much by taking it apart like you showed me
Awesome fricking fix!!!!!
Thanks for the Vid! I used the 2 1/2" garden hose with the zip ties and my washer is back in business...
Saved me a service call, thanks!
My pump had a newborn sock in it, thanks for the video bro, you just saved me hundreds and it was quick and easy
Saved me! Our did the same thing on the day before an open house to sell our home. The were trim nails stuck in mine! Check your pockets!
Awesome video! Helped me out a ton
Took the rods/hangers out tightened up the existing rubber sleeves with zip ties, washer is working. Thank You.
What if your stabilizer rods already have a rubber fitting around the spring? Tighten it up with wire, or a zip tie? Or cut it out and use the garden hose?
My washer just stopped draining, the symptoms are exactly as the ones on your video. After watching this video, I’m pretty confident, the problem will be fixed. Thank you for an amazing video !!
Still works, best video of taking it apart I've found.
Thank you sir!
I have a similar problem. I will try it. Thank you.
This changes everything.
Many thanks for this video.
