I have to change the belt on the same bike too. Can I take the Dayco belt like in the video shown, or should buy the original one??

In the workshop manual are 140Hz mentioned for new belts. 100Hz only for controlling the used belt.

Seeing this evo in this condition is very impressive, given that it's been out there since 2011-2013. The one I got has 32,000km on it and it needs a revamp.

Kudos on the torque wrench 👍 However.... Budding shade-trees remember: NEVER start bolts with a driver. Always start them by hand. Maybe if you are a bozo at a GM service shop who gives not half a ppplt. But why risk cross threading a fastener on a Ducati? This illustates why used bikes with service records from authorized shops command a premium.

The old service recommended every 2 years which has now been updated to every 5 years , but for preference id still be conducting it every 2 years as a snapped belt will cause the piston to kiss the valve as these are interference engines The uploader also may have just changed it for an upcoming season and the peace of mind that comes with it
