  Hey I wanted to know if mbbs is viable in smims for a person coming from a poor background, considering they’ve got the Sikkim quota. Are there any payments that are not handled by the govt?

  If you get govt quota you need not pay anything for the tuition fee.You just have to pay 1.35lkh for the hostel (it's not compulsory to stay in hostel).And you have to pay 20000 as deposition fee at first.And you have to pay for books and uniform yourself.

  Total tution fee per year -rs 17.68Lkh Hostel and mess-rs 135000 But if you get State government Quota,you only need to pay for hostel and mess. Hope this helped 🤗
