I think it's genuine concern, one benefit of Biden being so old is that he has nothing to gain, he gains nothing by being president again, and to be fair it's been a pretty chill 4 years which is a nice change of pace, Trump was entertaining but knowing he can't be charged while in office, he just won't leave the office, technically he could stay president after 4 years regardless of the election, he could refuse to even take part and stay president.
