The inevitable virtue of this footage is that it shows how a model can be made -simply- OOB (out of the box) with a lot of dedicated and attentive paintwork. It lends confidence to those fellow modelers who think that modeling exclusively means elaboration of top edge details from a myrriad of aftermarket parts. And such work is not less valuable to us, ordinary modelers who lack special materials (and sometimes dexterity ). It is a extra stellar job, C Hobby !
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that my work inspires fellow modelers. Your appreciation means a lot. Thanks again!
The mirrors and the rear light's panel should be yellow. And I'm also not sure about the red floor...
Nice build, but this color has never been used by Daimler-Benz for this iconic car. Really sorry but it looks like a frog
Another stunner of a build! Always admire your attention to detail
Thank you
Excellent video and channel thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you
Beautiful work. What is the red you used for the underpan?
Thank you. it’s GAIA HF-004
@@C-Hobbythat part number comes up as a gloss blue 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for sharing; When assembling the painted parts, what type of glue are you using? recommend?
Thank you. I mostly use Extra Thin Cement and CA (Cyano-Acrylate) Cement. Tamiya or mr.cement are all good
Nice! Looking great! Can you help me? I'm all the time stragling with the coat and polishing( I'm using Tamiya Clear LP-9 but it's so soft that any surface dirt or dast in polishing can leave a micro scratch... What's type of coat you are using here? And what size of nozzle you are using here? thx
I used 2K clearcoat for the car, it is more scratch resistant and brighter, so it is more difficult to polish, I used a 0.3 Ps289 airbrush, you can watch this video of mine Mazda mx-5 RF Bodywork kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqGsycStopypfKQ.html
@@C-Hobby Thanks a lot!
Whats The blue you using?
Mr.color C-5
Choise of colors on point 🔥
Perfect video. Thank you. One question. What brand is the pink tape and why do you use the pink and the Yellow One? Thank you
The pink one is the Japanese KAMOI masking tape which is softer and the yellow one is the regular masking tape which is easier to remove, so I use them together!
Beautiful
I remember buying this kit from KMart when I was 15…. Oh the nostalgia for me 😊
Wwwwwwwwwwunderfull and such a detailed paintjob. Mine looks good...... from a distance, yours looks way better from a distances and close-by. I think i need to build another Senna this year
Thank you ❤️
EXPECTACULAR¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
What tools do I need to assemble this? I bought one of these model kits while I was in Little Tokyo a while back.
You can watch these two videos of mine that introduce the tools. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqGsycStopypfKQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/aWuBytiegc-8qpc.html
What adhesive do you use on all those painted parts without messing up the paint?
I mostly use Extra Thin Cement and CA (Cyano-Acrylate) Cement.
Nice build. Looking forward to eventually building my one. Good work
Thank you
The Voice box display is upside down
Hola saludos dese España me encantan tus trabajos , te hago una pregunta ,las pinturas de AMMO Cobra las as empleado'? Gracias y segire viendo mas videos en tu canal al que ya me he suscrito¡¡¡¡¡
Thank you for your kind words. And I haven’t used the AMMO Cobra paints.
@@C-Hobby Gracias
How did you paint the rims? you sprayed chrome first and then black? you immediately remove the black part to reveal the chrome?
I used two different types of paint. The chrome is Mr. Hobby's lacquer paint, and the black is Tamiya's enamel paint.
Что за многоцветье, право слово?)) Оригинал то видел кто нибудь? Фото же есть в свободном доступе 👍
не барское дело - референсы изучать! инструкция же не врёт!!!
What kind of product is this where you lowered the windows?
It’s Pledge Expert Care
So many satisfying clicks.
I don't know why so many modellers wear gloves! There's nothing harmful to the skin when handling and I couldn't hold parts properly either!
Wearing gloves is to prevent fingerprints and oils from getting on the parts.
👏👏👏👏
That’s very nice! What is your polishing process?
That's awesome. Very nice Senna build and super clean work. Nice video too, well done 👍🏼
Great build video! Could I ask what you dipped the clear parts into please before painting and assembling them on to the model please?
Thank you. It’s Pledge
@@C-Hobby is that Pledge Klear multi surface polish? Do you simply dip it in and then leave it to dry? Does it need polishing afterwards?
@srhphoto1 Yes, dried for three days, no polishing needed.
What kind of liquid mask do you use please?
Vallejo Liquid masking Fluid
Hi there! Huge fan of your work! Can you please provide a link for the mesh used in the front bumper? Cheers
Thank you! I didn't use any mesh, just painted it black.
Amazing!
Wow -what a slick video presentation. Just got this model from aliexpress -lovely detail. Your final result is superb. It ill help me build mine.
Nice details
WERY strange monocoque rendition...it it better to check reference photos rather blindly follow the instructions
Sometimes it is better to keep your criticism of a strangers work to yourself.🎉
Depends on which car as Senna had a spare car which he had to use first race MP4/4 after gear lever break and photos show lighter colour carbon on nose ect......on one of the cars..

Perfect 👌
Great work. Which camera do you use to record your youtube video?
One of my favorite f1 cars of all time. Nice build👍🏼
Looking very good, and a VERY GOOD paintwork and masking you did on that body. But is the red not a bit to dark. I got the 1-12 Meng and i have bought then the Zero paint Marlboro McLaren red for it. Although i do like this darker red more than what i got TBH:
cat's pawl
Nice build. Respect. Thank you for showing!
Looks so cool in 1/24 scale. Thank You for sharing. I wonder if anyone makes the Marlboro decals?
Thank you, I couldn't find the appropriate decals.
@@C-Hobby Try Hobby Design HD04-0178 1/24 McLaren Senna Tobaco decals which will fit the F1 car and Eltoritto-011 Marlboro decals,Hobbyeasy and Spot Model.
👏👏👏👏
Nice build
What glue did you use for the stickers?
MR.MARK MS231 & MS232
Ho, great video, do you use a detail kit For this model or just what comes in the Meng box?
Everything is from the kit, no detail-up sets were used.
brilliant model .. just wondered .. after you apply the tamiya powder to the exhaust,do you just leave it or do you use something to seal the powder so it doesnt get accidentaly wiped off ? :)
I didn't seal the powder, so I just have to be careful not to touch it again.
@@C-Hobby thanks for replying ..much appreciated .. just ordered the powders and will give it a try myself .. probably mess it up though lol thanks again :)

What paint did you use for the metallic blue?
mr.color c57
Are you painting it according to the instructions? Just wondering what color for the orange and for the wheels please? Very happy they made a 1/24 version
Not exactly, I replaced the gloss black in the instructions with dark iron, all other paint colors I used are mentioned in the subtitles.
@@C-Hobby I like the dark iron much better!
