Thanks for stopping by my channel! On here you'll find acoustic guitar tutorials for all contemporary worship music. I post anywhere from 3-5 videos each week on either subscriber requested worship songs, contemporary worship songs we're doing for our church worship team, or songs I'm just lovin'!
Each tutorial includes a lesson for chords in the original key (so you can play along and worship with the recording) as well as the easy chords in the Key of G as this is what is most easy for beginner guitar players. So, if a song is done in the Key of F, the tutorial will include chords for that Key as well as chords in the Key of G. If that makes sense :)
On this channel, I'll also be passing along some things I've learned throughout the last ten years since I started playing. This might include finger-picking techniques, different chord voicings, using the capo for different key's, etc.

When playing the chords do I strum only the strings that make the chords?
I love your guitar brother! It looks like a Yamaha and sounds like a Yamaha. I have a Yamaha CPX 1200 and I would not trade it for a thing. I think the Yamaha guitar sound amazing! thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. It has really been a big help.
Can you please explain why you use a capo...in other tutorials they don't use it? (Sorry, I'm a beginner beginner and not very knowledgeable -yet 😅)

Might be a smidge high. Original is F# so not much higher.

Great question! Yes. I generally try to stay in time (or close to) for these moments. It might not be perfect, but definitely close. That way, if the pastor wants to go back into the chorus or bridge, you are ready :)

How do you get the guitar into the key of G?
Just play these chords like I am and it’s the key of G. If you put a capo on and play these chords, it will change the key 👍

Yes I do worship in different churches and places and a couple of states. But it’s always refreshing hearing someone else putting things in a bit more of a simpler form on guitar and things. Especially if you’re playing along with ambient… pads. Thanks for sharing.

Cool video! Love that song, just a quick 2 cents, "stabilizing your ring and pinky finger limits movement in the wrist while picking. I'd avoid doing so. Learning to stabilize your wrist with your brain and letting it move with the music is better and avoids possible wrist injury
