    Nice fitness tracker. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It's a tool that supports real-time subtitles and generate them for videos in foreign languages. With the subtitles, you fully understand the video content and naturally learn a foreign language while watching.

    I've been a Wear OS user for a few years (I have used Ticwatch Pro 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Pixel Watch 2). I recently tried a Venu 2 Plus which I really liked except for two things - the sleep tracking was pretty poor and I missed the extended smart features found on Wear OS devices. If you are really into fitness then a Garmin probably is best (except for sleep tracking and price!) but if you want smarts/fitness then I would suggest the Pixel Watch 2 as it has by far the beat fitness/sleep tracking of all the Wear OS watches - you'll just have to top up the battery charge everyday. That said, I really like the Ticwatch Pro 5 as a general smartwatch!

    Hi thanks for watching. Yep I really liked the Ticwatch Pro 5 too and all the smarts (even fitness features were not that far off). So far in all my testing, none of the WearOS can beat Garmin on battery life. We'll wait and see how that changes when Garmin start add more and more smart features to their watches. Glad you enjoyed 🙌🏼

    Garmin is far superior to wear OS. Although having a sim enabled watch is nice. Wear OS notifications are nice(being able to respond on the watch). I hate that Garmin still makes you use proprietary charging cables. Despite the drawbacks, I won't be going back to wear OS. For fitness tracking Garmin is second to none. I feel like review is spot on.

The main attraction to me was all of those apps, even replying to people from the Wear OS smartwatch when my phone was somehwere deep in my backpack or when I was out on a run 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🙃 But I realised that there was a completely different reason (battery!) that drove me back to my Garmin 😃

    Hi, Should i go for inspire 3 or charge 6 (I need a good sleep tracker) because charge 6 is double the price of inspire 3. Is it worth paying twice the amount for charge 6?

  • @thewearableist
    @thewearableist3 күн бұрын

    Hi. I've had a quick look at both Inspire 3 and Charge 6. If its sleep tracking you're mainly after rather than all the other bells and whistes like ECG, Google Maps etc., then it makes sense to go for the slightly cheaper Inspire 3 (both do sleep tracking). You can also answer a couple of questions on this link and let Fitbit recommend you a tracker: www.fitbit.com/global/uk/products/find-your-fit Although I haven't tested Inspire 3 on this channel, I've done a quick comparison against Charge 6, here are the main features you won't get with Inspire 3 (but available on Charge 6): In-built GPS, Google Wallet, ECG sensor, EDA app, KZread Music controls, Google Maps. So if the above features are not important to you then I'd agree with your decision on Inspire 3. Hope that helps 😀

  • @edword7195

    I was looking for a good sleep tracker and was going to get the inspire 3 and made the mistake of getting the charge 6. Firstly the charge 6 has a bit uncomfortable strap that folds under not over like normal watch straps I replaced the strap after 4 days. The charge 6 has GPS that does not work. The youtube music control requires a youtube fee of 10 a month. The google maps is not full maps just telling you when to turn. 3 weeks ago with in an hour of buying I new I hade made the wrong choice. You could not try them on properly in the shop , When I tried it on and then went to use you tube and found have to pay I realised this was not so good,

    Hi. I had a Fitbit Charge 3 bought in 2018 and used it till 2022 till I switched to Garmin Venu 2. It still worked and charges ok just don't use it. On online forums we normally see upset customers of course so take online opinions and forums with a pinch of salt for any wearable (still useful to do the reaearch so good you're looking into it). It ultimately depends on how you use any take care of any electronic item. Its more of a lifestyle/fitness/health tracking and not really a "rugged" sportswatch (Garmin/Polar/Suunto). If you are looking to do extreme sports and things like mountaineering etc., then you'd need a more rugged device. But if you're into general fitness (running, walking, gym, yoga, cycling), sleep tracking, heart rate tracking, then it should be okay. Hope that helps 😀

  • @thewearableist
    @thewearableist5 күн бұрын

    Hello, thanks for watching! Both are good for sleep tracking. But there are major differences in the type of the devices. It depends on what you value more: just fitness tracking with good battery or if you want fitness tracking with colour screen and smart features. The Vivosmart 5 does all the basic fitness tracking with great battery, but doesn't have a large colour touch screen and not much smart capabilities. Its just a plain fitness band. A "smartwatch" like Galaxy Watch 4 which has a large colour screen, does all the fitness and sleep tracking, lot of smart features but very poor battery life. You could get a fitness band that still has a colour touch screen, amazing fitness and sleep tracking, great battery and has smart capabilities (Without being categorised as a smartwatch). Nice one! The steps will be off (not sure how much your Bip 5 is under or over counting), but for example on some days I drive more than usual and sometimes whichever watch I'm testing at the time, it will over count steps for that day. Bip 5 always underestimated my steps - it might be down to the algorithm and sensor sensitivity in the watch itself. I found this on Reddit for manually calibrating steps in the Amzafit GT4 watch, not sure if Bip 5 has a similar setting but might be worth checking: www.reddit.com/r/amazfit/comments/15wixok/inaccuracy_with_my_step_counter/

    Which is best Amazfit bip 5 or bi5 5 unity

  • @thewearableist
    @thewearableist12 күн бұрын

    Hello 👋🏼 thanks for watching! Bip 5 Unity is a newer product than the original Bip 5. I haven't tested the Bip5 Unity (yet) but its running the newer software from Zepp (version 3.0) compared to the older 2.0 version in the Bip 5, so you'll likely see improvements in frame rates, colours, animations and speed. Many of the features look the same but the Bip 5 Unity costs $20 LESS than the original Bip 5. If it were me, I'd probably go for the Unity given the features are largely similar. I don't know how Amazfit have managed to pull this off, but the Bip 5 Unity is now in direct competition with the CMF Watch Pro which also costs $69! Hope that helps 😀

  • @lok3shhh
    @lok3shhh12 күн бұрын

    @@thewearableist thanks for the reply 😊 Actually they played a trick ; removed GPS from unity so that the Bip 5 looks still relevant, amazfit is actually creating confusion again. It's getting hard to pick one as Bip 5 has GPS and Unity has a lower price and new OS update with metal frame.

  • @thewearableist
    @thewearableist12 күн бұрын

    Hello. Yes, there will always be something that will be removed to justify the lower cost of the newer watch (which in this case appears to be in-built GPS). If GPS tracking from the watch itself is important to you (which worked well on the Bip 5 in my experience) and you feel that the feature is worth the extra $20 then yes the Bip 5 would make sense over the Unity purely for that added feature. In the Zepp App, you can definitely start activities and use the phone's GPS but I haven't tested this with the Unity myself as of yet. Hope that helps 😀

  • @thewearableist

    Hello 👋🏻 Almost all wearables will under or overestimate steps to an extent due to false hand movements and shorter movements around the house. In my experience the Amazfit Bip 5 underestimated steps by around 700-800 steps compared to the Garmin Vivosmart 5 and Garmin Venu 2, both of which I wore at the same time as the Bip 5. It does not matter if you use an iPhone or Android as the steps count and all other metrics are independent of the phone and app. Ultimately, the steps are only a rough estimate whichever wearable you buy, I wouldn't worry a lot about the steps accuracy. • @thewearableist
    @thewearableist22 күн бұрын

    Hello! Not a bad idea! If you use 2 Garmins together or even separately (Epix + Vivosmart for example), both devices will sync to Garmin Connect but you need to select 1 primary device in the Garmin Connect app and the app will show stats for that primary device (for example Vivosmart 5 data if you pick that as primary device in the app). What won't happen is say if you do 10,000 steps on Vivosmart 5 during the day (not using Epix), the Garmin Connect App wont sync the 10,000 steps onto the Epix - but your profile on Garmin Connect will show the 10,000 for you as a user, regardless of what Garmin you use. I did this when I had Garmin Venu 2 one 1 hand and Vivosmart 5 on another, and at the end of day I think what was important to me was that my user profile on the app was up-to-date regardless of which Garmin was syncing to it. I have seen some reviews on quora and reddit that their Fitbit fitness trackers screen turned to black after 2 months, some says that it's broken from screen after 1.5 years without any accident, some says that their screen got blackout and they didn't find any service centre near them.

    Oh is it? That's a shame! I had a Charge 3 many years ago and although I stopped using it when I moved to Garmin, it still charges and screen works ok. It might be the durability of the newer Charge 5 and 6 has been messed up with the new OLED screen (my Charge 3 was archaic pixelated display).

    Hi, I like this good review. Still, it shows still the appealing, friendly and easy to consume look and feel of the old application. Meanwhile Fitbit updated this to a rather unappealing, gray-green one with fat icons, messed up the easy usability of the sleep statistics, removed the possibility to change the recorded sport category, and some more strange design decisions. A pity as the app was before reeeeally good. Now many users are pretty annoyed and angry in the community. Would love to see Fitbit going back to the good design before.

    Hello! Yes I agree, the Fitbit app updated very recently after filming this to a colour scheme that isn't really intuitive unfortunately! Other apps like Garmin Connect have a much better UI.

    Hello! Pressing the button on the right side once should bring up the apps on the Bip 5. If its a new app, then make sure the watch syncs with the Zepp App before looking for it. If its not in the list once you press the side button, try swiping right on the main watch face and check the list of apps there. Hope that helps!

    Great review. Could you comment on accuracy of step tracking of the charge 6 as well as miscounting steps in day to day activities while moving around the house. I tried the latest Samsung Galaxy Fit3 and found that aside from the range of sync issues in that watch it also terribly miscounted steps in day to day activities. Also is there any other budget fitness tracker you would recommend that is accurate esp with step tracking

  • @thewearableist
    @thewearableistАй бұрын

    Hello 👋🏻 Almost all wearables will under or overestimate steps to an extent due to false hand movements and shorter movements around the house. In my experience the Charge 6 overestimated steps by around 300-500 steps compared to the Garmin Vivosmart 5 and Garmin Venu 2, both of which I wore at the same time as the Charge 6. With that said, I tried the Amazfit Bip 5 recently (almost half the price of Charge 6) but it underestimated steps by around 700-800 steps compared to the two Garmins. Overall the Charge 6 is not that far off and sufficiently reliable. Ultimately, the steps are only a rough estimate whichever wearable you buy, I wouldn't worry a lot about the steps accuracy. Hope that helps 😀

    What chest strap

  • @thewearableist
    @thewearableistАй бұрын

    Hi 👋🏻 I use the Polar H10 chest strap which uses Electro-cardiogram (ECG) to gather HR data (instead of optical sensors like on the Charge 6 and most other wrist-based wearables). Polar H10 is one of the most accurate ones out there, used commonly by athletes and is often considered the gold standard for HR measurements. Link here: www.polar.com/uk-en/sensors/h10-heart-rate-sensor Hope that helps 😀
