Interesting they were performing Sweet Home Chicago, & It hurt me too before the Stone Blue LP. Classic boogie blues rock.

A high school friend introduced me to FogHat and how to smoke a cigarette; how to inhale. I quit that sh*t. Today, he is a surgeon and has a beautiful wife. Me, well I still enjoy that fifth album by FogHat which is Fool For The City. As a senior in HS and a few years on, I performed Fool, Home in My Hand, and Slow Ride as a singer in my garage band. Now at 64 I play "Take It or Leave It" on my acoustic for fun and peace. Lonesome Dave was exceptional, my favorite player, and the FogHat musicians especially Rod the Bottle were just over the top. >>you know, rock and roll _R

This is ok for George to have fun and jam. But he's so much bigger than this band! He belongs Out front like he's going to be with "The Concert for Bangladesh" 1971 ❤❤👍🏻👍🏻 This guy "Delaney" didn't he wind up selling the Guitar George gifted to him? Even Clapton is bigger than this band. I guess they are helping them to establish themselves as a professional band? They sound good, one of the ladies is "Rita Coolidge" The band in general is Clapton's Domino's!. George even uses Bobby Keys & Jim Price on his solo albums after The Beatles. One thing to me thats a tad annoying is.. The girls put way to my vibrato on their vocals.. Did this group ever take off?

I think it’s Fred McDowell tune with Johnny and Shuggie Otis. Watching how much fun both of them are having listening and playing off of Roy is all I need to see.

Was there that night. The day the lights went out in NYC. Well Skynyrd must have drawn to much power from that city. What a show at age 15 I ll never see anything like it again. The energy level was through the roof seemed like some aliens from outerspace had landed and took the stage. These people were unreal and Im not joking here. Welp its been many years and 100s of other shows but this one takes the award as #1.

Mr. Buchanan had some real patience! Love ya Nils. Saw this tele of his at Norms Rare guitars - for sale. He said he got it from a guy who got it from a family member. Cool stories about him seeing a guy walk past RB's barber shop - when he was giving a haircut - with a tele that RB suddenly intuited he had to have. Story that RB wired Danny Gatton's tele. Just trivia, but one interesting, driven, cat.

I guess thank god for KZread....In fact now that Im thinking about it, its the only thing the internet is any good for as far as Im concerned. Foghat kicked ass at this concert IMO. That plane was f'd up. There was a reason Aerosmith stopped using it. Fuel gage was messed up and another time Allen saw flame spewing from one of the engines. Just a mess.

Thank you so much for putting this on U Tube. I have been preaching for years Roy as one of the iconic guitarist, not well known. I am going to have to dig some vinyl of his to play for my 30 year old son in law. Also knowing more of his history is amazing. Thank you again ❤️🙏

Ozark California? haha .. Ozark Arkansas dude .. Anyway, I think this must have been back when they made the best meth. Not to put Roy down, lord knows he was absolutely one of the best ever guitar players but those sideways jaw movements are unmistakable. I hope I'm wrong but I know about his history of addiction and as a fellow musician I know the dangers of that life.

This band could kick ass, as good as Cream, Hendrix. John Wilson was the right drummer for Rory as was Richard on Bass, sadly they never achieved what they deserved as Taste.
