  It's funny, they do this kind of story arc in any major Scifi... Trek did it about three times, Marvel did it... It's almost as if humanity didn't learn from it's mistakes and needs to keep being reminded.

  Rewatching this again since a decade and I still cry so hard at the animal scenes. Utterly heartbreaking and more people should watch this. Things are also prob a lot worse now due to capitalism on crack. 😢

  This is the kind of situation where you visit vengeance upon these people when you get your freedom. Also illustrates the more basic point that "rights" are always defined by those who have the capacity for violence. And if you don't have that, you can't get the rights you feel you deserve.

  As a kid, I had a book with a very similar story. Only it took place on a ship flown by a hunter collecting for the zoo. The main character was a human teen who was captured.

  What I've noticed is there's so many horror documentaries all showing what you shouldn't eat and very few about what you should be eating, anyone recommend a good resources to finding good healthy food ideas and meals that don't cost to much and would keep you healthy.

  There is nothing wrong with keeping animals in zoos. This scene is making a false analogy. It would have been more convincing to point out that humans used to keep other humans in exhibits for display. Maybe even point out that we used to cheer on brute displays of strength between opposing sides in public exhibitions.
