About the Athletes:
Part of being a RAW Barbell Club member means acknowledging that you’re not a full time athlete. We all have real full time jobs, but we also love this awesome thing called LIFTING WEIGHTS. Now if you love lifting weights the next step is to enter some competitions, even as amateur lifters we can do great things, compete nationally and internationally in some cases.

Thank you
You’re welcome! Glad it was helpful
Nice job and thank you. Bill seems like a great guy and a good mentor. Only man ever not asked to return to a strongman because he was too strong.
What size is that stone? Also what size if Vu? I’m guessing that he and I are about the same size and am struggling on what size stone to get.
Sometimes in compe it does not rely matter its depend on the ablitiy of lifter
In Baske Country we need lift stone to shoulder for valid. Usually we use atlas for exibicion and espectacle. Other stons for marks and competition. Did you see turning atlas around head???
Baske Stone lifting is amazing!! I’m in awe of the feats. That are performed. No I didn’t? Can you share it with me?

You sound like a smart lifter 😝
Dude I live in Sydney and in winter it’s still like 17degree
Yes… that’s the joke
Um its not cold in Australia
Its cold for me 🤣
Yeah that means so much in a fire fight in Iraq. Superstar Congratulations you must be so proud
Why?
@@Rawbarbellclub OK Mr Boasty if you don't get the fact you're a douche thats fine you think this shit means anything Pathetic
@@fourcandles9413 this seems overly harsh and unnecessary. Why can I not celebrate the wins of my friends, coaches and athletes? They work so hard to better themselves. I’m really proud of them.
Good video🤩
He just called on the sun

Heavy good form KB swings get a great glute squeeze for me

Long term effects include, but are not limited to - herniated disc's, muscle and joint damage, and spinal damage - all which seriously affect your quality of life when you get older. In other words , lift light just for the health benefits, swim and do yoga.
Hey, Dog Star. Sounds like you’ve had a rough go. Everything we do in life carries risks. Including swimming and yoga. I personally aim to do things in a way that prolong my joy in life. Which includes lifting heavy and sport!! I hope you can too.
First rule of crossfit; tell everyone you do crossfit. Second rule of crossfit; tell everyone you do crossfit
Hahahaha
@@Rawbarbellclub training program that combines all of them
Why do i feel like i could throw it farther?
Gotta be in it to win it 😂 It’s a lot of fun though you should definitely try!
Is the goal to get it to land as close to you as possible
Goal was to throw it as far back as possible. The bags were 10kg so it was quite difficult
It's not easy
@@bigrig8539 thanks mate! Yeah for most of the girls it was their first time on this implement. Really happy with how they went.
spine 💀💀💀
It wasn’t bad at all, there were much worse things for the spine in this comp 😅
How are u able to throw it so close
I dont know what u mean by that but sand bags are very heavy
Sorry, im not sure what you mean
The man in the back lol

incredible video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 please make more👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
well done!
Great stuff!
A great challenge for any lifter. I've squatted 385 lbs, but a squat holding a 180 lb stone felt way harder.
Right!! stones really test your mettle haha
all u did was show the excercise
Yo Nahka! Do you have questions on how to perform a push press well?
Hi Mr Rich, I am in 7PDH E, I think I found this in our theory class? I didn't know you were on a podcast! being a teacher and all that, it is great you find time to surf in the holidays. You are a really good teacher, so you deserve it!
There are actually two episode with Mr Rich. :) And I agree he is awesome!!

Dear Mr. Seb. I really enjoy looking at your website. You have a wealth of information and knowledge. As a teenager in the 1970s my heroes of Olympic lifting back then were Dave Rigert and Vasily Alexeev. Then later on came Taranenko, Pisarenko and Kurlovich. I’m in my 60s now and don’t train anymore apart from running around our local park and TRYING to do push-ups. That’s about it. Keep up the good work on your superb presentations of which I enjoy watching. Thank you, Brian Delamere
Since I became a truck /Lorry driver, couldn’t do heavy lifting as much as I’d like, but stones are everywhere, and stonelifting is fun very effective, great video
What an awesome idea! great way to stay strong on the road
@@Rawbarbellclub thank you, your tips actually helped me progress to lifting a 140 -150 stone today, I was standing too far from the stone
@@odd_el_toxico_g-coin_logis8474 Hellz yeah! Thats awesome to hear. Well Done!!
