I know I'm not God, because it's not my place to judge & punish the evils of humanity, since that's only His job anyway. Yet, I often wonder if the only way for these vicious acts of cruelty to completely stop it from constantly occurring over & over again, is that evil people who act beyond selfish enough to commit such violence towards the defenseless & voiceless, should be sorely visited by divine intervention itself, like they should be. When things like this happen, I question God about why He can't just wipe all wickedness off the face of this Earth now, since it'd be so easy for Him. & Then I take great faith & comfort in knowing that there truly is an afterlife, & the fact that all abused children, adults & even animals alike, are not gonna be gone forever from those that deeply love & miss them. I reassure everyone here if this novel comment on this video ever becomes a conversation thread, don't ever give up on the hope of being made fully whole again. Because we will of course once more see them all when that time comes. I take great comfort in knowing that although all types of abusers & murderers are not always temporally caught & fully punished for their crimes, God will handle all of that once the world comes to an actual halt. He will justly punish those accordingly that stand guilty of these sinful acts before Him in the last days. Yes, the amount of worldly sin is agonizing & infuriating, but it will only last until after Christ comes again🙏🙏🧔 Take heed & remember this quote; "Complete world Peace will never abound so long as mortal man is in charge." Because God is a supreme being that's far beyond our comprehension, we can only expect so much perfection from the human race alone. A recent comment by another reactor was that 'Emma is in command of this performance, she is leading everyone', and that's the truth, she is truly so much more than a singer already, she transcends the words songer and performer, I don't have a word to describe the level she's reached, and you too have been touched by her incredible ability to get deep into the hearts and minds of the people there, even though some of them didn't know the language of the song, which is French, it's a song that was originally sung by Barbara Pravi, as the French entry to the 2021 Eurovision song contest, and it came second. This version of Voila was a significantly changed version of the song, Emma originally learnt it phonetically, as she doesn't speak French, and Andre and his team worked with Emma to change it, they slowed it down, changed the tempo, and added the key change and the repeat of the last verse, and that had the result of giving Emma the space she needed to LIVE the song on Andre's stage, and it's worth mentioning that this was the first ever live performance of this version of Voila, and Emma's first ever appearance with Andre, in front of an audience of 12,500 people. Much more significant was the gentle and beautiful change that Andre helped Emma to make, in every appearance before Voila, Emma very much appeared as a very powerful and competent girl singer, but Andre helped her to change, with a stunning black dress, one of four that he had made for her, they both chose the same dress, Emma's comment was that wearing it, she felt 'strong and powerful', she put 5" heels under the dress, the result was that she was no longer the young girl when she walked out on to that stage, she was transformed, and became the new Emma that came out onto that stage and soared, she walked out on to that stage visibly and emotionally a beautiful, strong, powerful, serene, composed, competent, driven and dedicated young woman, it was the fulfillment of her dream that she sang about in her first single, released 12 months earlier, LAAT MIJ EEN VLINDER ZIJN , let me be a butterfly, it's on KZread, kzread.info/dash/bejne/jJesw9BygpjZZKg.html it's in Dutch, and there is a translation in the notes, the most significant bit, deeply emotional, between 2:02 to 2:30, 'if only for a day, or even for a count of ten, I'd just like to live as another', and you will then see a gentle shake of her head, the pain in her eyes, the recognition of the awful daily grinding pain and reality of her situation, and then her head goes down to silence for a moment. In that first ever performance of Voila, physically, she walked on to the stage, but mentally, she soared, she was effectively seeing her butterfly, and following it into the heavens, the butterfly of her dream breaking free of the cocoon, the chrysalis emerging as the beautiful new form of the butterfly, and it soared over that stage, and as it soared, so did she, she dominated the stage, the orchestra and the 12,500 audience that was there, that stunning performance of the new version of Voila was perfect, and it's hard to realise it was the first ever live performance of the new version, she absolutely nailed it, and that cheeky smile as she punched the air in triumph at the end of that top note made it clear she knew she'd nailed it, but the 15 year old girl is still there and emerged again for a moment, as she threw her arms wide to Andre, and effectively said, 'How was that?' His eyes, his smile, the embrace and kiss, the one word, 'Fantastic', the call back to the stage to take more of the standing ovation from the orchestra and the audience, all of that told the story, and to confirm it, after only one of the 12 planned performances, the next day, he invited her to join his 2024 world tour, and also to appear in the Christmas concerts, to the absolute surprise of Emma and her family. In her song, after the hearbreak of the recognition and reality of her situation, she rises, physically and in the song she soars to an even greater height, as much as to say, 'This is NOT going to beat me, or define me, I WILL rise above it', an incredibly emotional moment, it was written just for her, an incredibly deep expression of her dream, she so much wants to be free of the tie and limits of the pumps and all they mean for her day by day life, but she's reached a place where she knows that's not going to happen soon, so if she wants to live, and see her dream come true, and she does, then she has to rise above the issues that affect her, and find a way to live a life that has meaning, and with what she's achieved with winning Voice Kids, and then Ministars, and now guest starring with Andre RIeu in over 75 concerts during 2024, her life has changed, and has meaning, she has said she feels free for the 2 hours that she's off the pumps and is free to sing, and that's exactly what she's now doing, singing her heart out, and at the same time, exposing her vulnerability, not for sympathy, but to say so clearly, 'Voila, Here I am, as I am, with my weakness and faults, I need you to accept me and take me as I am, THIS IS ME'. She has absolutely arrived, her dream is now a very strong reality, and that's only going to get better as the year goes on. Two other songs from around that time that have deep meaning for Emma are a cover of a Miley Cyrus song, 'The climb', recorded for tube feeding week, kzread.info/dash/bejne/loOc3M59ddipcso.html Another cover, this time a Disney film, 'The Little Mermaid', sung by Halle Bailey, 'Part of your world', kzread.info/dash/bejne/m6is1Y-afty4erw.html Ariel is expressing a deep desire to move from her life in the water to a life where she can walk on the land, and experience that completely different life, and that so much resonated with Emma, her ache is to be free of the pumps that are so much like a boat anchor, and be free to live a normal life, to be able to enjoy food, and all that goes with the social side of sharing a meal with friends, being able to have the strength to walk long distances, or climb multiple flights of stairs, all things that she can't do at the moment. I have been watching and listening to Andre for over 15 years, and in all that time, I can't ever recall him giving a guest artiste the freedom that he is giving Emma, a recent song in January is an absolute example, there's no official video of it yet, so I can only refer to two audience captures, which give the clear indication of Emma's skills and capability, she walks on to the stage, and with a cheeky smile, lifts a finger to her mouth to indicate she wants quiet, which she gets, and then with no introduction or guidance note, she sings the first verse of a German song originally sung in Eurovision 1982, and she does it a capella., and it rings out so beautifully. At the moment, they are a small group, and one of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day. It would be wonderful news to hear that they have been able to change the outlook for Emma and others, it would be tragic if Emma were unable to continue to sing like she does, while she looks stunning on stage, her stamina is not good, so it is a very delicate balance to maintain her health, it would be so good to hear that the situation has been changed by the work the foundation are doing, Emma would then be free to spend more time doing what she loves so dearly.

Sohyang has said in an interview that this 2014 performance before Michael Bolton was the most pleasing to her personally up to that point in her career because Michael Bolton is one of her absolutely favourite singers, and because he was so effusive in his praise for her she was satisfied that she and her team could produce similarly world class songs and performances. And hey, Michael Bolton told her she was a vocal "virtuoso" after the concert and invited her to join him for the rest of his South Korean tour. How do you beat that? Well, Michael Bolton can offer to take you on an entirely new world tour making you the featured guest--and that is _exactly_ what he did! Unfortunately, or not, the two could not make their schedules match no matter how hard they tried and the tour never materialized. This was actually fairly depressing for Sohyang because she really wanted to go BIG TIME in the music business at that exact moment but everything seemed to conspire against her. Pneumonia problems would crop up and this has been a chronic problem for Sohyang. She would later recognize this as God's way of preventing her from getting caught up in the North American and European music industry that would have been destructive to her character at that time. Sohyang is humble enough and courageous enough to confess she had become so ambitious that she was an ugly person, short tempered with other people and not treating them with proper respect. I know, my jaw hit the floor when I read the interview too! Sohyang a _mean person?_ Say it ain't so! But we all have times where we are embarrassed at how we behaved and Sohyang is just a human being, like the rest of us. Two years later in 2016 Sohyang was almost ready to quit the entire music business because her health problems were so bad. Yet she had given her truly immortal performances of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Arirang Alone," "Everyone" and "I Have Nothing" only the previous year in 2015, and "The Prayer" and "Power Of Love" in 2014--songs _any_ diva who has ever walked the earth would _kill_ to have in their repertoire! So she plundered her bank account and took a trip to New York, Boston and Philadelphia. In the latter city Sohyang saw a quote from President Franklin Roosevelt where he had said in his inaugural address during the Great Depression of the 1930s that "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." This proved so inspirational for her that when she got back to South Korea she entered the "King of the Masked Singers" contest in 2017 and won it on six consecutive occasions! Still the pneumonia dogged her so badly she knew it was God's way of telling her she had to reassess why she had become a singer in the first place. And that was to sing to lift people's spirits who were going through hard times. In 2018 David Foster himself did eight concerts with her at Tokyo's Blue Note Club and it is thought he offered to be the producer for new recordings of her. But she had been really reconsidering her purpose in life and decided the Hollywood lifestyle was the last thing she truly wanted, and in 2020 she turned down a contract offer from Sony Music US, _the 2nd largest music corporation in the world!_ And there were many others before that going back a decade or so! Since then Sohyang has been resolute in her decision to stay away from the music "industry" and manage her own career for the purposes she had started it all with. I for one can't express how happy I am she has chosen the path she did because she is one of the most inspirational people I have ever come across in my entire life, and I know countless others feel exactly the same way. 👌😉💖💖💖 And here is what Michael Bolton told Sohyang after this performance. A recent comment by another reactor was that 'Emma is in command of this performance, she is leading everyone', and that's the truth, she is truly so much more than a singer already, she transcends the words songer and performer, I don't have a word to describe the level she's reached, and you too have been touched by her incredible ability to get deep into the hearts and minds of the people there, even though some of them didn't know the language of the song, which is French, it's a song that was originally sung by Barbara Pravi, as the French entry to the 2021 Eurovision song contest, and it came second. This version of Voila was a significantly changed version of the song, Emma originally learnt it phonetically, as she doesn't speak French, and Andre and his team worked with Emma to change it, they slowed it down, changed the tempo, and added the key change and the repeat of the last verse, and that had the result of giving Emma the space she needed to LIVE the song on Andre's stage, and it's worth mentioning that this was the first ever live performance of this version of Voila, and Emma's first ever appearance with Andre, in front of an audience of 12,500 people. Much more significant was the gentle and beautiful change that Andre helped Emma to make, in every appearance before Voila, Emma very much appeared as a very powerful and competent girl singer, but Andre helped her to change, with a stunning black dress, one of four that he had made for her, they both chose the same dress, Emma's comment was that wearing it, she felt 'strong and powerful', she put 5" heels under the dress, the result was that she was no longer the young girl when she walked out on to that stage, she was transformed, and became the new Emma that came out onto that stage and soared, she walked out on to that stage visibly and emotionally a beautiful, strong, powerful, serene, composed, competent, driven and dedicated young woman, it was the fulfillment of her dream that she sang about in her first single, released 12 months earlier, LAAT MIJ EEN VLINDER ZIJN , let me be a butterfly, it's on KZread, kzread.info/dash/bejne/jJesw9BygpjZZKg.html it's in Dutch, and there is a translation in the notes, the most significant bit, deeply emotional, between 2:02 to 2:30, 'if only for a day, or even for a count of ten, I'd just like to live as another', and you will then see a gentle shake of her head, the pain in her eyes, the recognition of the awful daily grinding pain and reality of her situation, and then her head goes down to silence for a moment. In that first ever performance of Voila, physically, she walked on to the stage, but mentally, she soared, she was effectively seeing her butterfly, and following it into the heavens, the butterfly of her dream breaking free of the cocoon, the chrysalis emerging as the beautiful new form of the butterfly, and it soared over that stage, and as it soared, so did she, she dominated the stage, the orchestra and the 12,500 audience that was there, that stunning performance of the new version of Voila was perfect, and it's hard to realise it was the first ever live performance of the new version, she absolutely nailed it, and that cheeky smile as she punched the air in triumph at the end of that top note made it clear she knew she'd nailed it, but the 15 year old girl is still there and emerged again for a moment, as she threw her arms wide to Andre, and effectively said, 'How was that?' His eyes, his smile, the embrace and kiss, the one word, 'Fantastic', the call back to the stage to take more of the standing ovation from the orchestra and the audience, all of that told the story, and to confirm it, after only one of the 12 planned performances, the next day, he invited her to join his 2024 world tour, and also to appear in the Christmas concerts, to the absolute surprise of Emma and her family. In her song, after the hearbreak of the recognition and reality of her situation, she rises, physically and in the song she soars to an even greater height, as much as to say, 'This is NOT going to beat me, or define me, I WILL rise above it', an incredibly emotional moment, it was written just for her, an incredibly deep expression of her dream, she so much wants to be free of the tie and limits of the pumps and all they mean for her day by day life, but she's reached a place where she knows that's not going to happen soon, so if she wants to live, and see her dream come true, and she does, then she has to rise above the issues that affect her, and find a way to live a life that has meaning, and with what she's achieved with winning Voice Kids, and then Ministars, and now guest starring with Andre RIeu in over 75 concerts during 2024, her life has changed, and has meaning, she has said she feels free for the 2 hours that she's off the pumps and is free to sing, and that's exactly what she's now doing, singing her heart out, and at the same time, exposing her vulnerability, not for sympathy, but to say so clearly, 'Voila, Here I am, as I am, with my weakness and faults, I need you to accept me and take me as I am, THIS IS ME'. She has absolutely arrived, her dream is now a very strong reality, and that's only going to get better as the year goes on. I have been watching and listening to Andre for over 15 years, and in all that time, I can't ever recall him giving a guest artiste the freedom that he is giving Emma, a recent song in January is an absolute example, there's no official video of it yet, so I can only refer to two audience captures, which give the clear indication of Emma's skills and capability, she walks on to the stage, and with a cheeky smile, lifts a finger to her mouth to indicate she wants quiet, which she gets, and then with no introduction or guidance note, she sings the first verse of a German song originally sung in Eurovision 1982, and she does it a capella., and it rings out so beautifully. At the moment, they are a small group, and one of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day. It would be wonderful news to hear that they have been able to change the outlook for Emma and others, it would be tragic if Emma were unable to continue to sing like she does, while she looks stunning on stage, her stamina is not good, so it is a very delicate balance to maintain her health, it would be so good to hear that the situation has been changed by the work the foundation are doing, Emma would then be free to spend more time doing what she loves so dearly.

Sohyang has said in an interview that this 2014 performance before Michael Bolton was the most pleasing to her personally up to that point in her career because Michael Bolton is one of her absolutely favourite singers, and because he was so effusive in his praise for her she was satisfied that she and her team could produce similarly world class songs and performances. And hey, Michael Bolton told her she was a vocal "virtuoso" after the concert and invited her to join him for the rest of his South Korean tour. How do you beat that? Well, Michael Bolton can offer to take you on an entirely new world tour making you the featured guest--and that is _exactly_ what he did! Unfortunately, or not, the two could not make their schedules match no matter how hard they tried and the tour never materialized. This was actually fairly depressing for Sohyang because she really wanted to go BIG TIME in the music business at that exact moment but everything seemed to conspire against her. Pneumonia problems would crop up and this has been a chronic problem for Sohyang. She would later recognize this as God's way of preventing her from getting caught up in the North American and European music industry that would have been destructive to her character at that time. Sohyang is humble enough and courageous enough to confess she had become so ambitious that she was an ugly person, short tempered with other people and not treating them with proper respect. I know, my jaw hit the floor when I read the interview too! Sohyang a _mean person?_ Say it ain't so! But we all have times where we are embarrassed at how we behaved and Sohyang is just a human being, like the rest of us. Two years later in 2016 Sohyang was almost ready to quit the entire music business because her health problems were so bad. Yet she had given her truly immortal performances of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Arirang Alone," "Everyone" and "I Have Nothing" only the previous year in 2015, and "The Prayer" and "Power Of Love" in 2014--songs _any_ diva who has ever walked the earth would _kill_ to have in their repertoire! So she plundered her bank account and took a trip to New York, Boston and Philadelphia. In the latter city Sohyang saw a quote from President Franklin Roosevelt where he had said in his inaugural address during the Great Depression of the 1930s that "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." This proved so inspirational for her that when she got back to South Korea she entered the "King of the Masked Singers" contest in 2017 and won it on six consecutive occasions! Still the pneumonia dogged her so badly she knew it was God's way of telling her she had to reassess why she had become a singer in the first place. And that was to sing to lift people's spirits who were going through hard times. In 2018 David Foster himself did eight concerts with her at Tokyo's Blue Note Club and it is thought he offered to be the producer for new recordings of her. But she had been really reconsidering her purpose in life and decided the Hollywood lifestyle was the last thing she truly wanted, and in 2020 she turned down a contract offer from Sony Music US, _the 2nd largest music corporation in the world!_ And there were many others before that going back a decade or so! Since then Sohyang has been resolute in her decision to stay away from the music "industry" and manage her own career for the purposes she had started it all with. I for one can't express how happy I am she has chosen the path she did because she is one of the most inspirational people I have ever come across in my entire life, and I know countless others feel exactly the same way. 👌😉💖💖💖 And here is what Michael Bolton told Sohyang after this performance.
