  Evenly is iffy as giant grinder can only activate mp1. Lots of people are playing thrust, talents, and droplet since the deck works from the grave and we can trigger thrust and talents by summoning dark strings to the opponents field

  ive been playing centur-ion since VASM came out and i see that it suffers from lack of tuners so hopefully White Woods will fix these problems

  Somethings are very clearly in my mind. Beatrice needs to be banned, terraforming and set rotation needs to be banned, called by needs to be banned, crossout and talent needs to go to one. This is the minimum to the game be playable. Then i would discuss a banlist!!! And needs to be now. If NA and/or European continental is under this format the world championship is completely fixed!!! They already fixed a huge part with some many formats throughout the national and continental season, but this would be, just buried the world's. And by the way master duel worlds are also fixed. Teams have share accounts, we are probably talking about players being paid to grind for some of this team's. I know at least one team that is qualified for the world that had paid a duel links famous grinder in the KC to play for them, but Konami is not interested in investigating.

  This is surprisingly a decent budget deck, if Konami doesn’t make all its support secret rares. Honestly INFO is the set I’m most excited for. I quite literally want to pick up every theme from it. They are all edgy and interesting

  @@edoardoporta9607 you gotta keep it in mind. Also you can play another field over it. If you have game you go for the interrupt line. It’s there for set rotation more than its effect obviously

  Just seeing this. Btw the list was supposed to be 2 lulu 2 jiji other then that its spot on. 2nd off there is a combo. all you need is boost warrior and a ze amin or a E-Tele. crimson lock with barrone and chuchi pop. Anyways rip the pass ban list but there is a combo. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  - Opening Gates is not at all "so much better" than opening DBB. Even with Droll in mind, you just get an SP pass, but still it requires you run a brick so 10% of times you open CSB can cause issues on top of the 30% of time the opponent has droll. - Squirmer is a completely free extender working with any engine so I really disagree with 2 and consider those promoting 2 (and especially 1) people that are just theory crafting the deck without actual playtesting behind it (or OCG with 9 slots for Maxx C that can't afford the space). - I went even down to 1 Samsara. While I get that in Fiend Link you don't want to see too many Yubel cards, don't forget that Samsara is also a 1 card combo just like Throne (but 1 less body) and Sacred Beast Engine (that requires a discard). - I like the 2nd Tractus, it adds so much followup while it only requires a body (even a handtrap normal summon) to do the full fiendsmith combo. - I believe Spirit should have a 2nd search target despite not liking Pain that much. Pain isn't that horrible in the first place, since you have 11 targets to pop without counting handtraps (Crow and Bystials are good for next format) in case you are in a rough spot. So 2nd Pain or even Chronicle for cases you open Pain should be experimented. Personally I find 1-1 ratio nice, because it allows me to play a bit better against Droll thanks to Phantom giving free counters. All in all, even with Closed Sky confirmed, and despite the huge sealing of the deck (almost unbreakable board) I believe going full combo fiend link and competing that way with Snake Fiendsmith won't cut it for the deck. Snakes do the exact same job without any bricks, more non engine, and more of their cards are interchangeable starters/extenders. Yubel was like Unchained, mid range that can ignore popular handtraps (like Imperm Veiler Nib) while playing well against floodgates (not named TCBOO).

  Personally im a huge fan of Fiendsmith in Tenpai, especially the boardbreaker version. They offer so much pushing and baiting to soften the opponent's board, they can pivot to Tenpais by Beatrice (either mill a fire dragon for Promethean, or the crystal beast trap that searches any field spell). Chaos angel (Chundra + Fiendsmith/Magna/Druis) is also another big push before you go for the OTK. Meanwhile you can catch opponents off guard going first thanks to Beatrice, either with the Mayakashi trap or rollback outright copying the new tenpai trap on mp2 completely turn skipping. I am against shifter despite all the benefits, because the deck can't OTK under it against a competent player.

  @@ReneBrain i've OTKed through Prosp and Mourner, doesn't mean anything if you play solo. A single Blossom or Imperm will make you pass. Add a random Fenrir to the board, or any interruption and suddenly that single handtrap stops the OTK under Shifter because you can't extend thanks to your Shifter.

  I've been having a lot of fun with a horus build of white woods, it lets you run a lot of other cards like trivikarma to search reframing or black goat laughs for grave value 1st or 2nd and potentially set up a no. 90 to be nib proof or a hope harbinger for a spell negate.

  There's a version that uses Arms of Genex Return Zero to be nibiru proof and has a dark and wind monster negate on the opponents turn.

  Love the list ! The only problem I see is that it walks into nibiru. That's why I prefer to replace one silvera whit Traptrix rafflesia, you still end up on cristal wing and dragoon 👍

  My usual end board would be Phantom of Yubel, Dis Irae, Varudras on my 1st turn, on my next one transform PoY into Chaos Angel, and whatever combination I have available to Link summon Abomination, then summon another PoY if the first one survived the previous turn

  I think Dies Irae will end up getting played because of how well it covers the decks weakness. The deck is very weak against droplet, dark ruler no more and evenly matched. Now while Varudras can cover evenly, Dies Irae can cover all 3. If they go drnm/droplet you just go cl2 chamber. cl3 Dies Irae to negate drnm/droplet. It only doesn't work if your opponent discards a monster and trap with droplet which will rarely happen.

  I actually really like the list and the video for the most part, my only complaint is that the 1 card throne combo u showed is just really bad, u can end on a way better board at the moment without the fiendsmith cards and a discard so i just dont see the point in that. Just for clarification my go to 1 card throne combo ends on phantom varudras apo for 2 with rage in gy and the trap. This is just overall way better than the combo u showcased since alltho the 2 caesar negates are better that the apo ones (most of the time) trading the omni and potential pop for a lotus effect is really bad plus u lose a card in hand and access to ur muckraker for recovery in the grind game

  2:10 - You can, actually. Yubel's summon is not a fusion summon, it's a contact special summon like vicious astraloud, and since phantom is both a yubel monster and a fiend with 0/0, it meets its own requirements as a legal target. The only stipulation for it to legally use itself to summon another copy is to actually have an additional copy in your extra deck.
