10:06 excellent choice of music sir
Real recognize real 😎😉
Hey! I loved this vid but just wondering what year is this m2
@@Dvrk-ms1lk thanks mate. It’s a november 2017 (LCI)
Vaya puta mierda de video.
That was lovely to watch, is the 2018 m240i non hexagonal adaptive headlight but LCI headlight use the same module
Great video!! see you next time!! 👍👍👍👍
The software did not write the record into my car but deleted the original record....anyone have idea how to fix it?
WAIT THATS TOO MUCH BUTT..nvm...
what do i do if it shows network is unavailable when i press detect?
Check if your cable is properly inserted in the obd2 port. Also check if your ignition is on.
You did well to knock the old joint out -- old git, UK
Cheers mate, thanks for watching 🫶🏻
My rattle unfortunately is from a broken weld on the right side. Another KZread publisher created a video showing how he TIG welded a break in his MPE. Mine broke in the exact same spot. I'm thinking about buying a Dinan steel exhaust. No shop in Raleigh, NC welds titanium with TIG. Anyone know if the MPE carbon fiber tips will fit the Dinan resonator?
Am I correct that your M2 is a pre-facelift? The earlier version MPE’s had cracking-issues
my gf is pregnant and we just remortgaged the house 😭😭😂😂 9:53
😄 hehe
I know this video is old but did you have an intake fitted? I can hear some cool whooshing noises too
Correct, I believe I show it in one of my other videos
Hello, having similar problem, but only happens when the engine and the temperature in general (summer) is hot, did it happen like this too? sorry for my english xd
Interesting, but no, (in my case) it was not temperature related.
@@TheHunterHofman thanks for answering, i did some research and found my problem is already know by BMW maybe could happen to you too, is this SIB 32 08 19
I was wondering if the color was really Long Beach Blue. In this video it looks like the wonderful Estoril Blue. But M2 didn’t come in this color, right?
Correct, and yes this is Long beach blue
Today… I laughed several times while watching this video. I give it a thumbs up. And I leave a clever comment.
Hehe good comment, I like it
I sure wish I was able to have this video available before I gave up and took it to the dealer to install. I'll keep this for next time. Thanks for the video.
I have the Turner Motorsport F87 OCC Kit, titanium magnetic drain plugs (oil pan, transmission, and rear diff drain), love the design and quality.
I know right, it’s good stuff. Happy with mine too.
this tool cant write to a 2020 model and will just erase history and not write !
Hi, I saw your Video and found that interesting. Bought myself the same part, when I change to reverse, light goes on but when pressing the button the beeping remains beeping. Any idea? Is it possible that coding is necessary?
Hi, as far as I know pressing the button should turn things off. Does the light of the button turn off when pressing it? No coding is required (as you can see in the video)
Thanks for answering. Meanwhile I found out, that this only works with the camera option, which I don't have. So I have to add another cable to make this work.
I did all this. Took notes off current service details then added in all the old ones plus the 3 new service lines that Ive done in the last few months. 9 lines of services for FSH. Blackbox connects , then writes all the service history, finishes then restarts head unit. However, now there is no service history Icon to open in my Idrive. Its gone from menu so I cant view all these services now. Car is a BMW F20 LCI , 2018 , 120d. Anyone got a solution. A few others have mentioned java, which ive tried. Also tried bimmercode to activate service history. No joy.
The best video of the Dct's service and waiting for adaptation vid so we can learn how to do it in our own
The best (and most enjoyable) video on DIY M DCT, had to admit that I was lured by the lick coz I've seen M DCT oil change done (not as detailed as this one!) ;-) Didn't realise anyone else ever did a transmission mount change with PowerFlex (it's Australian, good to see stuff are still being made here) stuff ;-) Thanks! Have fun with the more mature F80 M3 ;-)
Hehe thanks man, appreciate it! More licking to come
Nice postlift
Heyy vraagje man!
Is your crankhub stock? Any plans on doing videos on that?
It’s stock and yes, I have actually. I already have the new crankhub in house, but it’s a huge DIY so takes a lot of planning and work. I expect to do it this year still.
@@TheHunterHofman Do you feel like its neccessary to change it on a stock car?
Looking at the data? No. I’m just gonna do it for content and learning.
@@TheHunterHofman Which crankhub are you installing?
Hi just found your channel, love it. Just to let you know the metal half cones that hold the valve at the top are called collets in the UK.
Ah “collets”, didn’t know that; thanks! Glad to have you around mate
Nice video mate, as i said on another of your videos i got recently an OG M2 N55, It's a shame that you no longer have it, but I'll be happy to watch your videos, you've gained another subscriber!
Ah thanks man, appreciate it. Hope you enjoy the M3 content too; having said that, maybe I have a special guest in the next video that you might like...
I went on the same tabs but somehow it's not working all i see it's cream pies
Yeah, I get confused sometimes too 😜
bon boulot bravo !!
HAHAHAHAA that browser tab🤣
That was intentional ;-)
HUNTER i MiSS the M2
Okay, got it. You better stay tuned for the next video then…
Always sir
OMG another video! I am watching it directly and sharing it with all of my car friends on all my social media channels. What a great start of the week 🚀🚀🚀
My OG subscribers 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Slick car!
Thanks buddy 😎
Crazy that these have plastic oil pans! You're putting a lot of trust in Febi, I personally wouldn't :)
I know right! I have good experience with Febi Bilstein so far, so we’ll see!
By far the best video i've seen on this. When i did mine i cocked it up so bad...my pump failed during the refill procedure, and so i turned off the engine so the fluid wouldnt overheat while i tried to fix the pump...but I left the fill plug open and lost £25 worth of fluid 😭😭😭
Oof that’s unfortunate! Thanks for the kind words mate
You really cracked me up today, those backround Internet tabs😂 Definitely explained this better than anyone else on KZread, I'm sure the car feels great now!
Thank you buddy! Car drives well! On to the next video
Hahaha die tab😂😂
Oops ;)
9:19…torque these studs to 55Nm?…I did my to 40Nm per MMR instruction.
Did you have to install something for the obd connect to computer?
Nope, just follow instructions!
@7:00 hey, what is that dent in the left side quarter panel?
Hey buddy: kzread.info/dash/bejne/X6Z83LN-hLO1ps4.htmlsi=KWiS8gBEkKPId142 here you go ;)
Yeah - my amp fried 9 months after I bought my 17’ M2.
@3:00 just did this on my 17’ M2. I did not remove the bumper. I solved the clearance issue with the rubber trim piece by pulling it down and back and holding it open with bungee cords. And yeah, it is a heavy 28 pounds compared to the OE intercooler which is less than 8 pounds.
Hey man good video can we get a part number on the friction disc
Thanks, it’s in the description mate! Can I get a like and subscribe?🫶🏻
Did this. All input correctly. Clicked write to car. It showed the same. Said it was done. Went to car head unit after it reset. Nothing. I now have no service history at all. I would avoid using this program. Now created a whole new headache.
Sorry to hear that. As you can see it worked well in my car. You sure you did everything right? Maybe give it another try? Also save your service history; write it down or save it via the software
Same here. Seems a lot of peoples cars it completely remove the list in the Idrive. Let me know if you find solution.
Hi, I did the same thing than you but all my history service got deleted ! I don't really understand why since I did the same manipulations than you. And I really cba to go to bmw to restaure everything. Could you help me ? Cheers
Same here. Completely gone from idrive menu. Any ideas?
@@thisall4real Don't use that kind of programms. Most of them aren't working. Now, i'm just gonna go to bmw dealer to do maintenance rather pay more than getting fucked everytime there is a maintenance to do
@Oratz47 I do all my own servicing, tho. Be handy to update idrive myself. Going to try another program. If not ill just keep a paper record. Not paying bmw 400quid when i can get all parts for 120. Only takes 1hr.
I saw all your videos. it's really fun. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Thank you very much! Next video coming next week
Looks like a lot of work. Nice to not have to do any of it. Thanks for the lolz
missing the M2
Maybe it will be back on the channel soon, as a guest appearance, who knows… 🤐
What the F*ck is a kilometer mate? I'm going to use this video to change the belts on my M3 I'm at 110 American bald eagle miles
‘Murica! Go get ‘em buddy, good luck
You are the best, it was great partying with you in Monaco, see you again soon 🎉
Likewise buddy 🫶🏻
