How come on all YAMAHA spark plug caps I don’t get a reading w/my Multi tester??? I DO IF FACT get a reading on flippin’ china cheap caps?? I have 8qty total Yamaha ones and nothing… what am I doing WRONG

I ended up buying a cool head but dad ending up getting the ebay version instead of pro design im just a lil concerned on the domes where the oring sits my domes dont have a oring slot but it came with green ones n im just dont know if its wrong or do i put the oring on top of the cylinder block and then the dome on top i just dont have a slot where the oring stay with out slipping out when you flip it upside down to put the dome on top of block where piston comes out of thanks!

If you trim back the wire and you still have problems. Replace the entire wire! I had that problem a year ago. I trimmed it back four different times it would run until it got wet or if I was @ high RPM it would start breaking up or only run on one cylinder and that ain't no good! So I replaced it with an oem coil pack, it fired right up and I have not had any more problems! So I went back to look at the old one. The only problem was the wires had little breaks all through them. The copper was just falling apart. You figure it would still send electricity through, but it's not enough to keep your engine running right! Trust me, I spent a lot of money to find out it was just the wires!!! AND AND THE POWER DIFFERENCE WAS LIKE WHEN I WENT FROM "4MIL" 392CC BIG BORE TO A REAL ( I had to have the cases trenched for the rods on new crank) 4MIL STROKER BIG BORE ( Banshee 403cc ELIMINATOR BY Duncan Racing ) running on C12 aka VP RACE GAS.

Hey Kevin, do you know if the collar of the gear that fits into the clutch side of the crank seal is supposed to be grooved? Mine has a slight groove that I assume is from wear from the seal and could also be contributing to a leak.

actually a nice idea, with the fan in front of the radiator. but make sure that there's no dust and sand all over the palace, which could be blown up by the fan and eventually end up inside the engine.

Thanks for your content, question for you on input shaft bearing...i broke mybwetside down to inspect found idler gear bushing worn bad so bought a replacement and checked the input shaft bushing seems tight but the shaft itself rides on the inner bearing is tight but there is about 1 mm movement if i pull up on the end of the input shaft...bearing spins freely without noise but just wondering if even a small amunt of up down play in the shaft bearing is a sign it must be replaced...justbtrying to figure out if i need to split cases to replace bearing or if there is a certain amount of accwptable play (bearing in case journal is tight, shaft to inner is tight slight play in the middle of bearing.

I’m rebuilding a junker banshee and have a question about this case vent. My clutch cover had the 2 screws that go on either side of that vent plug, but there is nothing there for the screws to hold. The plug fits in from the back side, what are those screws supposed to hold? Looks like I’m missing a retainer for that plug but I can’t find it on parts diagrams anywhere. What am I missing with those 2 screws
