    Hi Greg. I dug this song up from five years back. What a find. What a lovely transcription and beautiful playing. Such a gorgeous song and exquisite bass. Makes my heart both cry and sing. It's given me a bunch to work on. Thank you so much. I am so grateful.

    That’s a horrible song in my opinion, it’s doesnt blend with the lyrics, nearly impossible to Pat your feet to, let alone dance.Sounds better with the piano run, should have been instrumental

    Hey Frank, thanks man :) Is yours a '76 also? Original pickups?

  • @bAgRiMoIrEsS.4
    @bAgRiMoIrEsS.43 күн бұрын

    @@BassCovers Thanks man! No, actually your bass is older than mine, 1976 is a great year for Fender. I have a 1999 Fender Jazz, blonde natural wood grain finish with the original pickups with the white pickguard that has the little black pinstripe on the edge of the pickguard with a rosewood neck. The standard design that came out with in that year, but the best thing of all it's made in America, it really makes a difference just because the parts and performance and whatnot, but some of these Fender's they make in Mexico now are built pretty well. By the way, I just want to say again; you play beautifully. I'm left handed and I play on right handed bass, but I tend to focus more on my left hand technique as opposed to my right which is not good. To be able to watch your KZread channel and check out how you use your right hand raking technique on the strings really helps me out with my own playing. And your song choices are all the songs I love and adore so far throughout my life. Thanks, Later!

    Thanks for the question and comment. I use "round wound" strings. It seems to be D'Addario most of the time, but it's usually which ever brand is the least expensive ;) I have a large pickle jar that I soak my strings with Methyl-Hydrate in. Hope that helps...thanks again :)
