  bro, you are doing awesome, but to mention that sqrt(of a number) is not positive number but it is always plus or minus of the result, hence the Range is real number (hence it is spans from 0 to all positive real numbers and all positive negative real numbers

  I just asked you in a previous video what a function was used for in real life applications, and then I happened upon this video which explains my question in the other video.   This is all very informative, very interesting, but my question is what are the applications of functions in real life? In other words, how would functions be used in real life? In what areas? I'm fairly certain these things would be useful in science and business. Examples?

  This guy is great. He doesn't look or sound like a math teacher, but he teaches it well. He doesn't come across as a "math teacher." He is like a comrade, like a friend in your class who is helping you. He is more like a fellow participant in the same class. How refreshing. Thank you!

  Hello Geneiveve! Functions are used to predict and see patterns in data. If you make $8 an hour, you can predict and see how much money you can make over time using a function like y = 8h, where "y" is the total money made, and "h" is the number of hours worked.
