Could it help if you waxed the the floss a little?
How is there zero comments on a 5 year old video? lol
C’est illégal d’avoir un couteau qui peu s’ouvrir à une main 🤚
Love 10 ft rods for Steelies and kings. My 10 ft 8 wt. is decent for throwing big streamers
Nice tie. Very versatile bug. One of those you can change colors up to match your water. Thanks!
I had been tying my hoppers for hopper/droppers with a loop of mono instead of a tippet ring.
Ben said the marabous is one hook shank in length but looks more like one and a half hook shank length?
That's an awesome bugger pattern. Would work great on the smallies by me.
Thanks for another Fabulous Tutorial from AM 🎉 🌟 🎣 💫
Great video Thanks! Very clear and easy to follow. What size hooks do you use for this fly pattern? Do you see a benefit in using a Fulling Mill Jig Force Short Shank Barbless Hook Black Nicke FM5125? Do you use this fly as a dropper combo ?
How is it to slide around?
What is used for thw legs?
Small point... it's Cheesman, not Cheeseman. Very common misspelling.
What vice you using many thanks 😊
Nice presentation Steve. Why do you use a single color leader instead of the multicolored slighter which is stronger and thinner? Why not the multicolored leader all the way and have one less knot ? Is it because the single colored leader is stiffer/goes through the guides better/slicker?
To loosen or tighten the harness while on the dog is almost impossible to do. The straps and slides dont move when you pull on them. Then you take it off to make adjustments and put back on over and over and its never right. Im done with it. Back to my cheap one thats a piece of cake.😢😥😥
Where do you keep tippet for quick access? That is my only issue with the backpack vs a sling pack. I love the quick access to tippet on a spool with the pro sling pack.
You can attach the chest or chest/hip pack on the front
Cool version but please.....no more of that mind numbing music
im in love for longer rods, not only for contact nymphing. they are good for single hand spey casting , they are good for wet fly or emerger fishing to do better drag-free drifts (to keep more line off the water), they are good for some exotic downstream presentations like dapping or riffle hitching etc. also longer rod generates more line speed , which is good for casting in windy areas, like lake or the sea
Can it hold a net on a Gear Keeper retractor? Is it comfortable to pull and use the net?
There is a small loop on the back that you could connect a gear retractor for a net.
Thanks for sharing. Definitely need some of these in my box! Wishing I has some yesterday… 😣🎣
You and me both!
Greeting from the U.K.-what size do you tie that down to? Cheers. Rob
Gonna tie some up but with jig hooks! 🤙🏻
Great looking fly and easy tie, thanks!
I enjoy the combination of ingredients here …… thanks for another Tuesday Trophy 🎉 🌟 🎣 💫
How’s the fit? And, for some of us lefties…is it ambidextrous?
No, it is intended to go over the right shoulder. Patrick loves this pack because the way he rigs his net.
I’m waiting on the 7wt Session . It’ll be my carp / streamer rod
hello I would like to know the model of your nipper please thank you kindly have a good day
Thanks Brian for another killer looking bug. What color of spanflex for the baetis variant?
Thanks for the video. I'm new to trout fishing/ fly fishing and I like your set up alot, but I was wondering instead of the magnet on the side of the net which is a cool idea if you were to run that zip line from the top through the net keeper and if that would holster your net for you and not have to worry about the magnet
Or have you tried ot that way?
Good afternoon, I fish this pack a lot and I have changed the way I connect my net a few times over the year. You can certainly run the net without a magnet and connect it like you mention, I have tried it and do run it like that from time to time. The only thing is that the net tends to swing around some, and I like the handle to be in the same place all the time.
i wish i could have seen the inside while you were adding the zingers, etc. You never showed more than the outside.
I love the spools of led on the bobbin holder arm. I haven't seen that before. Great idea
That’s a Dandy 🎉. Thanks for the Tutorial and I know some Stillwater Trout that should enjoy this Morsel ! 🌟 🎣 💫
What do you think about doing this in hex colors????????
Fly tying Damsel
I have this same wading staff. Great video! 👍
🤘
Add super glue added security
What fly line does it come with ? Ive bought one but do not know what fly line it is. Assume 8wt floating ?
Surprised you didn’t counter-wrap the feather with wire. If a tooth nicks the feather stem, the whole feather would unravel wouldn’t it?…
is it me or does this seem more midgey than a baetis with that ; the tail and thorax certainly dont scream midge no doubt, but, in high flows doesnt it seem unlikely that a fish notices a tail, and the thorax more of a hotspot than a baetis body? just thinking aloud here im fairly new to euro nymphing nonetheless
Nice , but being stored in a Extremely hot vehicle where sometime the heat can fry an egg on ones dash .. I'm not a Fan of that design Rods are expensive , lines strung in the heat ...???
It's just a wooly bugger ?
Do you advise lubricating the one-way bearing periodically? Thanks!
on the wings are they size XS?
The trout really like this fly! 💰🎣 Thanks for sharing Garrison.
I tie and use the “ STICKER - of Pigs 🐖 ! “ It works !!!!! 🎉 🌟🎣💫
I’d love to c you fish this fly in a video, great tie, thanks!!
Was the tinsel cord 1mm or smaller than that?
I will reach out to RJ...I think it is 1mm, the 2mm looks way to big for this size fly.
Where do you buy the cord? I went to hobby lobby and micheals they both said no
Thanks! Im also thinking 1mm. That's what i ordered from amazon, so we'll see! I can't wait to try this in some high elevation lakes!
