    It was a brief shot in reference to the difference between their West Highland White Terrier cousin. We try to use different pieces of shots to describe the script. We also incorporate videos of other breeds in other segments of this video. Thanks for watching x

    It would be more authentic u didn't include pictures of Samoyeds, Pomeranian & other mixed breeds. Also, the Chow Chow is not the only dog breed with a blue/black tongue. The sharpei also has that trait

    You do know the reason that tampons originally made was to be used for the military in World War 2 as a way to make wounds sealed. Later they found a much more domestic use for women during their periods but it was originated for war

    Barkless? NO. Sammies bark. They bark a lot. Go watch a few Sammy episodes of the girl with dogs. Might not be as loud as their husky cousins, but they will be heard. Also, the floof and neediness knows no bounds. But sammies are love incarnate, and worth it.

    Guinea fowls come in various colors due to genetic variation. While the most common color is a mixture of black, white, and gray feathers, some Guinea fowls may exhibit predominantly white feathers due to genetic mutations or selective breeding for specific traits. I hope this answers your question. Do not hesitate to ask if there’s anything else I am always happy to help.

  • @andrecostermans7109
    @andrecostermans7109Ай бұрын

    Yup, they hunted wolfs ( European ones are smaller) with the old breed of IWH on the island and succeeded, that is one of the reasons why they were no more needed after the wolfs were rooted out. The ' revived' breed is more 'gentle' , from each litter the kindest ones were chosen for breeding purposes ( apparently for safety issues), that's the reason why they are now called ' the kind/nice giant'.

    Please tell me about their dancing, im going through exposure therapy on them and that's something that freaks me out about them

  • @BeautifulFacts101
    @BeautifulFacts1012 ай бұрын

    Yes certainly lol, it is a scene of beauty. Male crane flies engage in this fascinating and intricate mating ritual, relying heavily on their unique dancing behavior to attract females. These dances involve a series of complex movements and displays aimed at demonstrating the male’s fitness and attractiveness to potential mates. One key component of the crane fly’s dance is its aerial maneuvers. Males often hover and dart through the air, showcasing their agility and stamina. This aerial display not only captures the attention of females but also allows males to assess potential competitors and establish dominance in the mating arena. Additionally, male crane flies use their long, delicate legs to perform intricate movements on the ground or vegetation. These leg movements can range from graceful waving to rapid tapping, creating visual patterns that are visually stimulating to females. Furthermore, males may produce audible signals during their dances by vibrating their wings or producing specific sounds using specialized structures. These auditory cues serve to further enhance the male’s attractiveness and may also play a role in species recognition and mate selection. Overall, the mating rituals of male crane flies are a complex interplay of visual, auditory, and behavioral signals designed to attract and impress females, ensuring successful reproduction and perpetuation of the species.

    I love octopuses and learning about them, I would like to know how works they sight, breathing, taste, smell and reproduction in a deeper perspective

  • @BeautifulFacts101
    @BeautifulFacts1012 ай бұрын

    Octopuses are fascinating creatures with unique biological systems. Here’s a brief overview of how their senses and reproduction work: Sight • Octopuses have highly developed vision; their eyes are structurally similar to those of humans, with an iris, lens, retina, and pupil. • They can see well in both light and dark conditions but lack color vision; they see in monochrome. • Their ability to change skin color and texture for camouflage is not directly linked to their vision but rather to special cells in their skin called chromatophores, which are controlled by their nervous system. Breathing • Octopuses breathe through gills, similar to fish. Water enters their mantle cavity, passes over the gills, and exits, exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide in the process. • They use a siphon for both intake of water to the gills and expulsion for propulsion in the water, aiding in their mobility. Taste and Smell • Octopuses have an interesting way of “tasting” their environment. They use their suckers on their tentacles to taste and touch. Each sucker is equipped with chemoreceptors, allowing them to detect chemical signals in the water, which effectively lets them “taste” what they touch. • While they don’t smell in the air as humans do, their ability to detect chemicals in the water plays a similar role to smelling, helping them identify food, predators, and mates. Reproduction • Octopus reproduction is known for its tragic end: most species die after breeding. Females lay eggs, which they fervently guard and clean until they hatch, refusing to eat during this period and often dying shortly after the eggs hatch. • Males use a specialized arm called a hectocotylus to transfer sperm packets to the female. After mating, the male’s lifespan also dramatically decreases, and they die. • The reproductive cycle is closely linked to the octopus’s growth cycle; they are semelparous, meaning they reproduce once and then die. Their unique biological features contribute to their status as one of the most intriguing and intelligent invertebrates in the marine world.

    @@BeautifulFacts101 Thanks! That's why they're my first favorite creature ever! Also others say their colorblind makes them see some colors except red, maybe I'm wrong or can depend on the species, I also wonder which arm is the one, like, if it's consistent or can be any arm the one to reproduce

  • @BeautifulFacts101
    @BeautifulFacts1012 ай бұрын

    @@rafcor6799 Yes, octopuses are generally considered to be color blind. Despite their inability to perceive color in the way humans do, they have excellent vision and can detect changes in brightness and contrast very effectively. They have a single type of photoreceptor in their eyes, which limits their ability to distinguish colors. However, their sophisticated eyes can detect polarized light, which may help them in navigating and detecting prey and predators in their environment. This capability to sense polarized light is something humans do not possess, and it offers octopuses a unique way to perceive their surroundings, compensating for their lack of color vision.
