I am a HUGE fan of that Teresa Mold. and this Lupita is looking great. Sad about the pixelated eyes. Just as a a lil bit of info: RBD Telenovela had previous Barbies in 2007, that were really successful (in Latinamerica).. and now Mattel is releasing this new RBD set because the RBD band group just did a very successful reunion tour last year (with plans to continue this year, but it didn't happen due to some controversial things that surfaced during this year). While I do agree that having these pricey dolls in fashionista bodies is not ideal, you have to consider this is a licensed doll, released mainly for Latino fans, so probably they are still within a "budget doll", who knows. I really miss the old Teresa mold, and Hope Mattel brings us that face mold with updated screening!!!
Definitely, she has Pink Hair.. This sculpt is really awesome, and the open mouth is as cute as the closed mouth. But I have to say, the Lilac Barbie doll with the squinted eyes and freckles is cuter to me. She is still in her way so I am not sure which barbie/other line doll works for her.. But she definitely needs an articulated body. Great review BTW.
Love this doll! I got two. One is now on the basketball player MtM tall FXP06, the other on the new yoga MtM curvy HRH29. Also, she's definitely got pink hair. Some retailers put incorrect info on the listings or combine the info from multiple option dolls.

Hello! Your videos are very funny. Thank you! This mermaid is also part of my collection. She got a body from Barbie Made to Move Doll with Long Wavy Brunette Hair, Green color. I think it's the closest to her skin color.
Did the first release use a different sculpt?
Usually the UV screening with pixelation is a deal-breaker for me. However, I made an exception for these mermaids and the ones for the live action Little Mermaid. It doesn't look horrible on them, and I love the molds and saran hair.
I use MTM yoga 2021 GXF05.

That Hair is Pink, someone at Amazon is a bit daltonic, I used green tie-dye made to move (Neysa) it's not a perfect match but a decent and the closest i could find in MTM

It all depends on when my Silkstones ever come, but this doll is the best doll I bought this year.
