    I just saw your Porsche 987.2 on the back of a trailer in town. Noted the name and looked you up. Very nice. I could totally do this too, but unfortunately lack the financials. Maybe I'll try breaking into the carting scene at 35.

    Mighty good job mate! Too bad we don't get such awesome parts where i'm at but i'm saving up for a few mods myself. Riding the '10 mana for about 6000 kms currently & loving it. I do however get the occasional urge to shift gears so I may even consider getting a 2nd bike.. but giving up this baby is gona take some convincing & a lot of grief!

    Dude that is some serious mods and nothing short of a brilliant job! I got myself a stock 2010 GT too and have a few mods planned as soon as I can save up some $. Thing is .. where i'm at, sourcing of parts is a challenge not to mention works out pricier $$$. Mods in mind: 1. Dorsoduro mirrors with embedded led blinkers 2. RSV4 OZ4 wheels 3. RSV4 brakes 4. Front mudguard 5. GPR slip on exhaust 5. Tinted windscreen among a few others. Ohm (United Arab Emirates)

  • @PSolk
    @PSolk6 жыл бұрын

    Hi Eric... The mods were quite expensive and I actually upgraded the suspension from Sachs to Ohlins after this video so they got even more expensive! The mods were as much as the bike which unfortunately is now for sale... The 990 motor never came to be unfortunately.

    This is great. I just got one, and am amazed by how it handles. Nothing fancy on mine either, just the stock steel suspension. My track car is a Lotus, but now I can see why tracking one of these wouldn't be scary like other crossovers/SUV's.

    Just a slight correction, if you please. The visor is the part of the helmet which protects the eyes from direct sunlight. Just like in a cap. The protruding part of the cap is the visor. What you have just demonstrated is the SHIELD. So please, educate us properly and correctly.

  • @PSolk
    @PSolk6 жыл бұрын

    You are kidding right? The manufacturer calls it an e-tint visor, webBikeworld calls it a visor insert, revzilla calls it a visor, kzread.info/dash/bejne/fnyqksyeobfdoMY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/k2ibuJOgedW5lJM.html Bell's is also referred to as a visor kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZYShmLRmmt2Zd6g.html and you are commenting on a 6 year old video... Wow

  • @badtensioner
    @badtensioner6 жыл бұрын

    Yeh, WOW!!!! I was looking for a video clip that will help me pop out my shield from my new helmet. My previous helmets were screw types, so I wrote "how to remove helmet shield" and, there were really very few, but some titled their clips "helmet visor". I instead wrote "how to remove helmet visor" and boom, there were many. Of course what will happen is even the old video clips will be included, and I tried to watch. It really saddens me that many have been misinformed about the "basic parts of a helmet." If we start from a baseball cap, it becomes very simple. The cap is the part that goes to the head. The visor is the protruding part that protects the eyes from sunlight. In a helmet, of olden times, which I was able to use, manufactured by Shoei, the parts are simple - helmet shell, visor, shield, strap, pads, protective styro inside the helmet. Nowadays, many do not include the visor part anymore. It's only the shield, and many mistake it for a visor. Anyway, after watching video clips showing how they pop-out their "visors", I tried to figure out how I could do it to my helmet, to no avail. I guess I got so frustrated that I threw it to those who called a shield a visor. Sorry.

    Great driving! Overtaking 911 on outside. What are the rules? Weight and HP limits? I guess 911 has more hp Also is there some reason not to downshift when slowing down?

  • @PSolk
    @PSolk6 жыл бұрын

    Sorry I never responded, ended up in spinal surgery after this video!! This is PCA Club Racing so two biggest rules are no contact and the car with nose in front owns the corner... Other than that we are classed together based on weight:HP ratio. That 911 is in the same class as my Boxster :)
