Our last Weim Chevy was awesome when left out alone. Our 4 month old Weim Kodi I can't trust even in his crate.

I'm on my 2nd Weim girl. She is just over 2 yrs. old and weighs in at 95#. Weim #1 was also the same size & weight. Beautiful and smart dogs, and tough as all hell! When she was spayed I had the vet stitch her stomach so she doesn't get that stomach knot issue that some large chested dogs get.

I own a wein and every time me and me mam go out we come back finding out she chewed something up or got something in her mouth in her bed either me brother socks underwear or me man slippers 😂😂 one she chewed me dad phone up lucky we got it fix but cost a lot of money to get it repaired but with me she knows I’m soft with her were as me mam is scared of her like literally when Vespa (dog name ) yawning near me mam she thinks it’s going to get her when it’s not or even when she was allowed on the couch she use jump sit next to me mam and cling onto her saying it’s getting me 😂😂😂

I was attacked by a Weimaraner when I was a kid. I was riding my bike and he chased me and bit my foot (dog was loose on the street). I have never met a friendly Weimaraner in my life, they always act aloof, you don´t know if they are either going to run away from you or bark and growl.

i think it depends on genetics and socialization, my 4 years old boy was never aggressive towards people, he actually ignores strangers but when they want to pet him i allow them cause he likes it. but i also heard weims are crazy but i believe it is how they are raised. mine is pretty smart
@@barcik4854I have a Weimaraner. It’s hard to admit, but he can be aggressive to people. We raised him in the wild not meeting a lot of people (I think that’s part of the problem). I think you need to take them to bussy places to get them used to other people outside. We have a very hard time getting him not going after cyclist and runners….
@@lucienwerneryes, it’s your fault that he’s aggressive. with right socialisation weimaraner would never be aggressive since it’s not their natural behaviour. luckily i did proper socialisation from young age and he’s my best friend, i can take him anywhere 😊

YES, our'can! He will be 13 yrs old on June 17, 2024! He's so intellegent, obedient, sweet, & by far the best dog we have ever owned! Ill be heart broken when ihe dies!
Sonny was 110 pounds and his sister sugar was 85 , anything that came in my backyard died and I had to get rid of it quickly. Otherwise they were the most loving dogs . they knew people real well just by the way they were around them, they can smell a scumbag
