  Let me answer this question... I will give you the instance of Sachin Tendulkar..He played his first international match(debut) with Pakistan at the age of 16... If selectors at that time said to Sachin U now go and play other tournaments and after you're matured enough to play internationals.. then our country could have missed A man with 100 centuries and GOD OF CRICKET.. Now coming to UPSC what if that guy did 100 remarkable achievements while conducting his duties as a Civil servant the country has ever known..And he has more age to do this when compared to others too..
