Thanks, perfect for my 2019 Sante Fe. Can I use this port with 12VDC to keep memory when I change the battery? Any recommended port connector?
What a useless video, just started the 2 methods people are trying to avoid
On the Fiesta 2013 there isn't the Aux port 😢 or I don't found it
I think u have bluetooth
@@disconnect3d487 no because I have the Plus version. Bluetooth is present on the Platinum version.
I use Aisin Timing belt kits and they will last 100,000 kms. Don't buy these kits off Amazon or Ebay. There is to much fake parts on these sites
The 2018 Nissan Rogue Cvt transmission pulled 1200 Lbs from Florida to California. Three months later it’s still driving beautiful.
how can i connect my phone to it like Bluetooth
U have mini transmittor
There is not transmission better than a manual one
How to fix a broken gas cap that can’t close in a 2014 Santa Fe sport Hyundai
If you wanna shut it off momentarily when you park, you can use your emergency brake. That’s the third way do you could shut off your daytime running late
❤great
hello When I'm driving the car and put D , can I change it to 2 ?
Do you know how to debond a telephone with this exactly radio? The four down buttons are missing
Україна) по дорозі був магазин "Вітрила"
How about transmission fluid.
Fr bro
Thanks for the explanation, but I have one question, I had a situation where the vehicle locked in park and could not shift nor get the key out of the ignition, is that remedied by pushing the D3 button??
You open the small cover besides the shift, press a button there with your key or a pin, then you can shift
What happened when the flat doesn’t open?
What happened when the flat doesn’t open?
Thanks mate
I have a 2011 ford festiva, the radio was replaced so i thought that the steering wheel buttons didn't work, which i thought was just for the music, but ive had my car fòr around 10 months and just discovered it has cruise control
That was helpful thanks, guys
thank you ...oh my was looking all over : )
I just bought one 2012. So excited I hope it will last for a long time .🙏🏼
Couldn’t help but notice the LS2 lol
I drive a 2019 focus titanium. It's a shit car. frankly the engine is okay (economical on hwy) and the interior is fine, also the sound proofing and the sony sound system are ok. all the rest is pure JUNK. The infotainment system is so disagreeable, like a hysterical pompous sociopath that beeps for every little thing that you do or don't, and a stupid gearbox that NEVER knows what you're doing or intending to do. Also panel gaps are ridiculous. It's a complete FAILURE and it's just unbelievable that the only thing that ford do is extending the warranty. TOP GEAR TOP TIP: AVOID
I have also seen someone tow A 6x12 U-Haul trailer with it.
Thank you for the advice. My aunt has one asd was curious about towing with it.
I have a 2014 as well. Got it for the simple transmission and larger engine. Thanks for the info!
Found out I was pronouncing Subaru incorrectly!
Maybe, it's me who pronounces it incorrectly? I'm an ESL speaker, and I've also heard 3 different ways to pronounce it from natives :)
Thank you for this video, I have my test tomorrow and at the last minute I'm having to use my own car, which is much like this one. I now know for sure how to show the examiner what they ask me to do! 😁
Can I shift from D in to 2 while driving? Say I need to slow down in the snow without using the breaks Or will the car not let me take it out of D Thanks
You can shift to 2 but the speed must be appropriate for the 2 gear. Otherwise, transmission may not be glad.
V40 T4 2013. 170kkm. The first symptoms what u said is bullshit because I feel a little “punch” when a gearbox is changing from 1st to 2nd gear since 40kkm. All the issue will comes out because no one didn’t change the oil. I have change it 4 times (40kkm period) and maybe that’s why I don’t have any real problems with that gearbox. It is fast as hell.
This is dry clutch - oil has nothing to do with the system. Just like in a manual transmission.
@@CarAraC thats change everything. Dry clutch powershift is piece of shiet
Can I change the modes while the car is moving or at park only
You can change when moving. But make sure the speed is up to 25 mph (for the third gear to apply comfortably).
No. The D3 mode will not let it do higher than the 3rd gear. Not the second gear. Hence. [ D3 ]
Thank you
Battery in key is so dumb, this is a dumb system
Worst transmission ever 😢
The bodywork is very good and my ten year old UK Fiesta has no visible rust. The problem is the underside. The front sub chassis is prone to rust as are various suspension components.
European ones are better. US (Mexico-made) Fiestas tend to rust much faster due to poor paintwork.
Thanks, very well explained
3rd gen is the best
Manual all the way ur crazy asf
Any noise issue on cold weather starts
Nope. Only the noise from the infotainment fan for about 20 seconds.
Very well done. Thanks very much!
Factually incorrect. 1.Sidelights 2. Headlights. The indicator pulled forward is switch into auto headlamp mode.
There is no auto mode in most fiestas :-)
25,000 grand, yeah right...
Do you have an OBD2 scanner you recommend? Is your Hyundai a diesel by any chance? I'm looking for an OBD2 scanner that will help me with the fuel pump prime process when changing a diesel fuel filter on my 2020 2.2 CRDi 4WD.
This particlular SantaFe was 2.4L petrol. You will need a good Launch or any other scanner that can communicate with all control modules. They usually cost $500 and more. Or you can find a repair shop with such a scanner and do the job for $50 or something. A simple cheap OBD won't do anything else but reading the codes from the ECU, unfortunately.
Actually you WANT to use the Sport mode if you want these transmissions to last! Take each gear to about 3500 rpm. These transmissions NEED to be driven fairly hard. If you use the S mode the shudder will not be there AND… if you have the RPM flare that he mentioned you need a new actuator for the bottom clutch fork ((B). This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Powershift will fall apart no matter how you drive it. Sport mode is great for traffic jams to avoid 1st to 2nd shifting but that's it - it won't help you in any other case. The clutch will wear out faster if you drive it in S and it shifts at 3000+ RPM.
@@CarAraC Imma let that Sport mode burn the clutch and light my way at 3000+rpm
what type a car do you have petrol or diesel, petrol is dry and diesel are wet. petrol's powershift more problematic 6dct250 then 6dct450/451/470. need to know which name is gearbox is for
The video is with the American 2.0 Duratec Ti-VCT. It's dry clutch and it's probably the worst gearbox in the history of Ford.
*promo sm* 🤗
Watching your video saying that if D light is blinking something may be wrong is a waste of time!
Hey! Thank you for your video. So I replaced my iMac cable because it had a crack on it and the idle was rough on the car. I replaced it with a genuine part for Hyundai and it works and no code pop up on the dashboard. The idle feels better and smooth but I said rpm is idle is at 1000 or just lil bit over when it used to be under. Listening to your video I’m guessing the car was used to the old one. What is the normal range for a car to idle?? I have Hyundai Santa Fe 2006 2.7. Please and thank you
Hey! No, 1000 rpm is not normal (it's ok only when the engine is warming up). I would use a good OBD2 system (not just ELM scanner) and check if the IAC is working properly. But it's not only IAC that can affect this, so a good inspection is needed here.
