I just want to say, like alot of us, this does happen, it's a reality. BUT, THAT DOES'NT MEAN THERE'S NO HOPE! Please hear me out, when I say God is good all the time. He gave me two marvelous boys. One after 4 years trying and the other after 13 years. So there you have it!🙏 Don't loose hope, hang on to God!🙏 What's imposible for the world, IS POSSIBLE FOR THE GREAT I AM!!!🙏👏

my friend's parents could not conceive and the doctors told them to give up. so they adopted my friend as a baby and soon after that, the mom got pregnant. The doctors say that is common. They say that the stress of trying prevents you from getting pregnant and after you give up and adopt, the pressure is off and conception happens
I'm a retired optician and I miss it terribly! These moments are wonderful and always made me so thankful to be part of those experiences when a child actually sees their family for the first time. May I make please make some suggestions, next time when deciding which frame for lenses, make sure to go to a Licenced OpticianThere is usually only one License per (office, location, etc) because that is what's required by law. Usually the rest of the staff learns these this profession as they work and are taught as they go along.Somtimes the person helping you is not yet licensed but working as an Apprentice under the tutorage of the Optometrist or an already licensed optician. Some people can be very good in this profession and love learning, as I did, but there is another type of associate you should watch for. This person looks at the RX and instead of finding the most appropriate frame for those lenses (certain RX's do much better if the frame is fit well). These people only think of the add-ons they can sell you to increase their commision. And yes, sadly, when we buy glasses , each little item that then there's appearance! Of course, everyone wants to try on frames and find one that looks great on us, right? Keep in mind a few things (not all of this applies to babies, but still, there's often room for improvement.) Ok, where I worked they did provide awesome training. Things like, How the shape and size of a frame can make your lenses look better and even how the shape, size and color of your frame can enhance certain things about your face (and also the frame itself can make other not so great features more noticeable). Here are a few tips to think about when you considering you're next pair of eyewear: When trying on a frame, be carefully not to go too big This can make it look like you're cross-eyed. Also It can make your lenses larger and heavier than they otherwise would be. Oh, and someone with a long nose should stay away from any frame that has a keyhole bridge. For sure this makes the nose l{k longer! I could go on, thinking always how the color looks with your ski!! Look, there so much more, but just look at the whole picture and really LOOK at yourself with frame on. Oh, and don't forget the A/R coating so people can see your eyes not their own as their image is reflected off of your lens. This is especially handy if you are in any job where you need to make an impression with your eyes. And finally, if you think of your glasses as accessories like jewelry, the edges of your lenses can be polished to look bright and shiney instead of dull and cloudy. Keep in mind all these treatments are called add-ons and will add to the cost of the eyear but for sure they will be the best looking glasses you've ever had! I'm sad to say even eyewear is something the Opticians or sales people make commission on, Hopefully, whoever helps with your order will be one does it for the joy and satisfaction of helping you see better and let the commissions fall where they may. I'm so tired I've got to hit the sack. G'night!

Honest question, if these people couldn't see the colours before, how did they know exactly what each one was with the glasses? Wouldn't they have to be told what the hues they couldn't see before are, considering they shouldn't know what they even look like?

Gentle reminder that just being there for your parents as they age is priceless and the best way to repay them. Money is great. But repaying them with care and love in their twilight years will mean so much more. ❤
