We went west on the 300. Turned left just a little bit before the turn to Bear canyon lake

Awesome video. Just an FYI for anyone attempting this just be aware that it is possible that the CV axel will not come out with a hammer and punch. No matter how many times or how hard I hit it I could not get it out. I had to rip everything off and am basically going to replace the whole hub and steering knuckle. It was also a huge pain in the ass getting it off. I’ll be leaving this one to the pros next time.

Very true. Mine almost didnt come out with the punch and hammer. I got lucky on that one.

It looks like the author is going early enough in the season that there is not a lot of users around him. Only drawback on Roosevelt is the campsites are too close together. I went in March and was surrounded by big RV's running their generators all day. Pathetic! I would suggest for tent campers to use the sites numbered T1 through T 18. Especially T4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Best are t6 and T7. Close to the lake and far enough away from the RV's with their generators. But the T campsites are all first come first serve. So came early. Without A/C it is too hot to camp at Roosevelt Lake from April to September.

Sweet Sounds like you know the lake. We got lucky with our neighbor campers. They had Rvs but also had boats so they were out on the lake all day. I gotta check out those spots youre talking about🤙

What road did you turn down to get this site? I always get confused by the BLM camping areas on the Rim. Great video!

Were you on BLM land or an established campground?
@adventureswithdannyb42203 ай бұрын
It was BLM land not too far off the freeway. Little rugged terrain but drivable. Beautiful spot!

great video. how much does it cost to camp there? was anybody catching any fish? looks like a nice tent but kind of overkill for one person considering i used a 2 man pup tent last time i went.

Single Campsites were $25 per night which is what we had. There was quite a few ppl fishing on boats. Not sure if they got something. And my tent yes it is overkill my fat self likes to be comfy😁🤙
