The sixteenth full-length MINISTRY album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, is out March 1, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Regimes rise and fall. Stars shine and fade. Trends come and go. MINISTRY lives on. The six-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum juggernaut founded and fronted by Al Jourgensen has seeped through the darkest corners of popular culture and infected the mainstream for over four decades, gleefully spewing sonic bile between the cracks of the system's facade.
Born in the eighties, they survived the nineties, weathered the turn-of-the-century, and even held on through a Goddamn pandemic. However, MINISTRY shows no signs of stopping or slowing down-even for a breath. Instead, the band-"Uncle Al,” John Bechdel [keyboards], Monte Pittman [guitar], Cesar Soto [guitar], Roy Mayorga [drums], and Paul D’Amour [bass]- cranks out another blast of anthemic industrial metal on its 2024 opus and sixteenth full-length LP, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES [Nuclear Blast Records].

Mom told me she felt this was bad... guess i was wrong.. who?
Did Al sell his soul to the blue team? I think Al sold his soul to the blue team.
Sorry I missed the Meal plan 🤘💥🤘
Darkness, the end of days Planets, kinetic haze Arrive, the last dimension Reject the apprehension No matter, we don't look back The storm, electric black This war is formed in vengeance The story has been predicted We are the dark and the light We have the power of time We are the serpents intertwined The galaxy will unite!" here it comes the night of a thousand eyes
Should have been used in furosia mad max...
Al is the left wing kid rock! 😂
Still the most original rock band on the planet..
hell yeah, reminds me doing hash in the `90s
Such a good riff 🤘🏼
If this is the last official Ministry album.. Id be satisfied... That being said.. Please Al do a bunch of contributing stuff or producing stuff, if not formal Ministry..
Seeing the Cruel World set, wow! Speechless. I am so glad the band is venturing back into the old catalog! A refreshing surprise! AL sounds fantastic!
% no!!!
Ministry sempre me surpreende a cada álbum lançado.❤😊
no jokin but seriously ok, honest to goodness geeky history docus on tv, ok, but has anybod been watchin lately on uk bbc4 "Civilisation" docus - not exactly rocknroll but definly rocknTRUTH, specially the episode about 18th century enlightenment. Can't wait for the sequel 100 years from now about 21st century enlightenment........(note the implied sarcasm....!!!!)
I love how this song is the closing of the album and how upbeat and positive and friendly it sounds compared to the rest of the album which is dark and heavy. It's basically like a happy ending to the story and theme of the album being like: "That wasn't so bad. Everything was tough and it really seemed impossible to get through but we did it somehow and it wasn't so bad. Everything's okay now." I always feels like this song foreshadows Al's recovery from drugs and alcohol in from this point on in 1996 during the Filth Pig era and because it's a uplifting closing song in contrast to the previous ending songs of the albums which are dark, sad, and scary (Abortive, Dream Song, and Corrosion) all of which were made before when he was struggling severely with addiction. But this closing track being not dark, scary or sad sounding signifies that everything is going to be ok.
Melvins - history of bad men always reminded of the riffs on this song
Gotta love Mike for this bad ass riff ❤
SUCK IN NOW NEVE .BYBY ORLANDO AND POOR .BANK YAH I CARE .
Released in '96 but still listened to almost religiously today. Filth Pig and Psalm69 are definitely my favourite Ministry albums but they just keep sending out epic music. Everything uncle Al does is gold. Having Manson's quote at the end here fit perfectly considering his words. Scarecrow will always be one of my most loved songs though. "Laughter fills the sky instead of rain".
To the one person I read saying they like Ministry when they weren't political, HA
Bewusstes Atmen Immer sehr wichtig !
what an album..
Nazis Immer wieder dieses dumme Wort Was soll es bedeuten??
Nazis Immer wieder dieses dumme Wort Was soll es bedeuten??
Cool
Uncle tom sayz behindz da moonshed girl..lolz..
I wonder if Al realizes that he's helping the Deep State- Intelligence Agencies with their Agenda to destroy and enslave Americans.
Damn - my speakers need to be LOUDER
Te gusta la música es lo importante🎉🎉🎉
I'm totally convinced that this is Anakin Skywalker's favorite song
RFK had a worm in his brain. so far this album has been the best president.
Excente rola
Ya casi soy fan de peso pluma!!!!!!
Makes me wanna race 1,000 laps over at Homestead Miami on my Forza Motorsport 7 game with some of the fastest cars I own. Gets my blood pumping for some adrenaline. This is a masterpiece, and you can't deny that. So thankful I had the album on cassette. Best Song Ever. \m/
Я так розумiю Жека спiвае про кордоны СССР. Мы тоже хотим вернуть все до границы Союза.., а я бы ещё и ГДР забрал..😂😂
Diz n a new fav band..lolz..
One of the best songs to kick off the album. So glad I bought the cassette on Amazon Canada for approximately 55 bucks... well, 66 if you count shipping via express delivery. And I was lucky to get the last copy of the tape, it's because of my favourite emblem on the tape (and yes it's that Warner Bros. Records logo from that time period from 1989 until 2002. Love that logo as always). Awesome way to start the album on Side 1 of the tape.
@Ministry / @Ministryband We need a official full album stream for "Moral Hygiene"! 🤘🎶
I prefer the original.
Neit!!!!
This is my favorite album of all time!!! Tied with Around the fur Deftones
we need a new form of government - no reform, no charismatic new leader, a new structure. Anybody got any ideas? we're liviing in a controlled form of anarchy - as many versions of government as there are civilians. The monetary units we're using are seperated from big money - and is earned wether peace, war, pestilence or health reign. Input and output are controlled - and can be adjusted or punished as needed. That's the weak point I see - it's based on behaviourism. (and all the ceo's are interested in stoicism all of the sudden). How do we break it truly down and what will we use to replace it? If everybody stops participating and refuses to believe big corp it will be a wrench in the cogs - but without a new form of state, it will be useless. And how do we stop the confusion of the conspiracy method? It's just a way to keep you afraid and the money in the hands that hold it. Every state has a negative balance - in debt. How do we build a state that serves citizens and not the greedy?
The music is a fantastic, solid callback to the Psalm 69 days. 🥳 Unfortunately, all the lyrics are bullshit seemingly culled from the CNN/Fox media cartel's ass. 😠 (Said cartel sells narratives, not information, facts and/or truth.) Hoping for an instrumental version of this album to be issued so I can buy it and actually enjoy it. 🥺
The drums on this are SO GOOD! Also, the vicious lyrics are pretty catchy.
You probably lick more ass than anyone I guess you like the taste of shit on your tongue. Love it😂.
