I agree, but the drummer has the most impact on time and is therefore the most important person to stay in time.

This is impressive, I think every drummer should see this and implement your soft playing into their drumming. This is alot harder than it looks for the average drummer. Great job man!

(Edited because im an idiot!!!)Very good brother!!! I've been playing for 40 years and I only noticed one thing. I mean absolutely no offense, I just want you to realize (you probably already realized while you were playing😉) this so you can work on keeping your fills in time. I think you lost the beat for a second, when you were rolling the hell out of those drums!👍🏼 Very nice rolls!!! I heard that you had to add a bit to get back into the right beat. Happens to me quite often, especially when I try a fill that is incredibly difficult or long or both.lmao😂 I end up with an extra beat or two, sometimes less a beat or two, but you recovered nicely and most wouldn't have even picked up on it. You are a GREAT drummer my friend!!! I'm more of a "pocket" drummer than I am technical, so I pick up on, even the slightest missteps. I'm also a perfectionist, which actually holds me back quite a lot because I pick up on the smallest mistakes I make and then I tend to obsess until I have the groove done perfectly. I say it holds me back because all of the tiny little things I obsess over, takes much of my practice time away because I'm obsessing on one tiny mistake, even if it isn't noticable to most. So, pay no attention to what I said and over play the hell out of those drums. See, I was obsessing and it was taking away from what you were playing, which is incredible (your playing, I mean)!!! I guess I have to work on that mental aspect of playing, and try to learn to stop obsessing and start enjoying what I'm playing, as opposed to worrying, constantly, if I'm playing EVERYTHING perfectly. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME COME TO THIS REALIZATION!!! I APPRECIATE YOU VERY MUCH!!!NOW, THE REASON FOR THE EDIT: Apparently I wasn't listening close enough the first time because, when I listened very closely, you didn't miss or overplay anything!!! Just an incredibly difficult fill that I didn't understand at first. My apologies!!!🫡🫡👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Oh my God!!! That us so juicy!!! The guy's voice is beautiful! And those drums sound absolutely phenomenal!!!🫡 I used to play for a Worship Team and had to play quietly, ALL THE TIME!!!😳 So much that I've forgot how to really go hard now. So I guess I play quietly, naturally . I'm not so sure if that is good or not but I'm much more accurate when I play more quietly. More contro-ooooo-oh-eeoool😉😅👍🏼
