I will drive 3 hours to valkaria before I drive 30 minutes to heros, carpet layout simply does not work on low grip asphalt. Last time I was there only 1 car finished each qual and the main, the other 3 broke every time.

Just to be clear the track owners at Heroes are great. The track director and his helper are the folks you are talking about.

I would just separate the classes and days if you want more run time. People who run more classes have to invest more time, simple. Tue wed is one class, thur fri another etc. This allows people to watch and also allows more track time for each class. This is common in 1:1 racing.

There are some decent low carb breads out there if you’re cooking at home. The keto diet is great if you can stick with it, I lost close to 55lbs in 6 months on it.

We have a club here in northern Minnesota. LSRCC. The the only reason we have built it to 70-80 weekly entries is because of 1 class. Not USGT, not spec mod, not the TC class of the week. I didn’t hear much talk about this class….. Novice. Imo, we focus way to much on bullshit classes and not the future of this awesome hobby. Most of these other clowns will be gone when they don’t get what they want. I’m sure you have seen this more than once. It’s so rewarding to see 14 novice drivers smiling and having a great time every week. Fuck these other whining racers that don’t see the big picture. Again, Just my opinion… Great work track rats, keep it up!

Had three broke on me thursday. Two were my fsult, i crashed whatever. One i ran just normal and i can see hairline cracks. Scotty replaced that one no question asked. It didnt "help" in that we were told we couldnt mix tires (ie, you can run tires you bought for that class, but if you run multiple classes, you cant mix em). So you could imagine the issue that'd arise, because there were barely time to break in two sets per class before quals started.

Unfortunately I missed this live. On the Tamiya cars - we have started a parking lot club in Mooresville, NC. We charge race fees. I am not terribly familiar with the Tamiya TT01,02 chassis, but the locals are. They love them. The draw is the inexpensive chassis, with body, esc and motor included. The scale look is a huge part of it too. Ultimately, with these cars, for less than $200 an established racer (already has radio, battery, and charger) can put a car on the track, be competitive, and have a blast. Our Torque Tuned class (spec motor and molded chassis) has been out biggest class. We have very little interest, thus far, for the established on-road classes. I want to keep a 'pro level class available, so these TT folks have something to look up to and work towards. Probably gonna keep it simple and only offer 21.5TC
